I don't like a single band in that line-up.

Go if that's what you like, though.

I'm old and only know a few bands on there. I used to go to the warp tour when I was younger, and it was a lot of fun. Though I think the scene changed a lot since I left. Punk kids for a while were just normal looking kids in t-shirts. Now they play dress up with eyeliner, hair dye, and their punk rock uniforms like a bunch of little wannabees.

The ticket price isn't really a big deal it's mostly getting there, and getting back (or at least it was in my case).

It's not even a punk fest now it's just core B.S. like Emmure and iwrestledabearonce.

Both movies were so great--that's really tough to pick.

I would probably go with Avatar.

8.5/10 I really liked it. I'm not very picky when it comes to movies, though.

It was pretty comparable to Avatar, IMO. I probably liked Avatar slightly better although District 9 was more intellectual.

I'm high.....on life :D

MichBelle

That reminds me of those "get high on life, not drugs" videos they used to show us in middle school. I have to say, I think I'm much more likely to get hurt by extreme biking and skateboarding than doing some drugs.

At least extreme biking and skateboarding means you're staying active. :P

I love Slumdog and own it on Blu-Ray. I'd give it a 9/10 too.

Freida Pinto is so fine.

It's my second favorite movie of '08 behind The Wrestler.

That was a really boring solo. For a slow solo it didn't seem to portray much emotion, honestly.

If you like it, keep listening. :)

...he is really popular and has some catchy songs, sure, but nothing else

You couldn't be more wrong. If anything his delivery and lyrics far surpass his usually average hooks. People who just do "catchy songs" are pop-stars.

Yeah, maybe, like i said i'm not into the genre so my perception is way to inaccurate, but IMO i feel that songs like The Real Slim Shady pale to other songs of, and i'm going to sound totally cliché, Tupac.

Eminem's singles are generally weaker than his other stuff. A lot of them(Real Slim Shady, My Name Is, etc.) are more accessible and catchy than his deeper stuff.

[QUOTE="sexy-hippo"] Obama's done more than you think. Alot of what he does doesn't get mainstream media. I hear about alot of what he does after the fact and I try to keep up with Obama.unityskater

This.

Most historians say you can't really judge a president until 50 years after they've left office. Just because Fox News screams at you that the world is ending because Obama is satan, doesn't make it true.

I Agree with you but i think itsinappropriateto just throw Fox news in there this is a thread about Obama as a president not to bash conservative ideals

I genuinely hope that Fox News doesn't represent the average conservative ideals.

Judging Obama at this point would be difficult. Unless you're a big supporter of him you can't say he's done a great job, and if you think he's one of the worst presidents ever you were obviously prepared to say that before he was even elected.

We'll know how he's done some time down the road.
