Ratchet & Clank are best at single player, multiplayer is a fun but inferior distraction. But even I am kinda tired with the single player; time and thinking towards a new direction of SP is the way to go. Give me back a game that's a pretty good 3D platformer, R&C humor, and some good rethinks to the combat. I'll buy that pretty fast.
I think you need to start with a clean slate when you make one of these games. Otherwise, you're forcing characters developed for different scenarios to mesh into similar gameplay mechanics and design concepts that are pretty similar. I could be wrong but mesh it in, not mash it in.
The level of quality of that trailer was right on with that of DP itself. I like it's crappy presentation because DP is a cup of spicy, Irished up coffee... and definitely crappy.
Oh boy, and I'm still not done MHF2. I'm gonna buy a 3DS soon; but even after I finish MHF2, I'm gonna spend a little time away from MH... And then that damn game is gonna bite my itch for MH again.
Well, I'm grabbing doom 3 bfg day 1 as long as it's for $40. Old game collections just can't be priced at $60 these days. Kinda sucks they never talk about Doom 4 actually and just around potential concepts. But I get it, DOOM 3 gets re-released because Bethesda found that Rage didn't sell quite enough. So before any more resources goes to DooM 4, they wanna see if it still sells well enough to have an audience... even though Rage sold about 3 million units
Regardless of what we know is coming in one form or another, here me out, developers: the most audiences will spend for a brand new home console is $500. That's the limit I'm willing to put down (before taxes, on launch) for an entertainment device. While you do more than with each iteration, your console is still meant to entertain first and right now, nothing is even close to be more than a part of your console. Even with MS's Xbox, it's a gaming console first and then a multimedia device, and that will stay so for quite some time.
The only real difference I continuously see between the two is that the XBOX 360 screen shots are always a bit darker than the PS3 ones; there's nothing else worth picking over.
