Erm...........sorry guys but i hate the whole idea of the "closer", i agree i wouldn't pitch him in the 3rd or 4th n such, but if the game is on the line with the bases loaded i use him! Heart of the order, guys on base tight game, i use him! He's supposed to be my "best" pitcher right? Games aren't always decided in the 9th so it irritates me when a manager is like that. Also when you're on the road you don't use him in the 9th of a tie game so he can get the "save" Torre did this and Mattingly is following, who cares about saving the game in the 11th when you already lost in the 9th because of the bum you ran out there! This. The save is a "statistic" created by sportswriter that somehow came to dominate bullpen strategy. It's led to some seriously backward managing decisions.
Just a few from off the top of my head
Cunninlynguists - Oneirology
Blue Scholar - Cinemetropolis
Big Krit - Return of 4eva
DJ Quik - The Book of David
I like the album more each time I listen to it. Kanye specifically upped his game on this one, in terms of rapping. The production is fantastic, as always.
You're angry at the wrong people. You should be mad at the public, who apparently have an insatiable appetite for entertainment. Not that I really have a problem with it, but that's what drives those salaries up.
Wow, so far no baseless "RAP IS NOT ART" arguments. I'm impressed OT.
Got the album today, haven't listened to it yet.
I enjoy the film, but I feel like the whole movie is Kubrick being self indulgent. The movie is beautifully shot, and the sets are unbelievable but some of the lingering, and the pondering make it feel like Kubrick is just flexing his muscles at the expense of the narrative.
Maybe The Decemberists? Might be more folky than what you're looking for. Great band though.
