This is a big deal for me though, I love my multiplayer gaming and I want it to be as lag free as possible, especially if I have to pay a xbl fee. I know that MS have a huge data centre in Dublin, Ireland, all connected via fibre optic etc. I know (as long as my connection is not shitting one out) that I will get a decent ping to that living in the uk. When I think about what data centre I will be connecting to on PSN, well I dunno where it is tbh, but I'm sure they do not have the same world wide coverage, time or money to catch up anytime soon. As for the cloud....I'm exited for it, I can see some great potential but at the end of the day it comes down to what the developer utilises it for. As time goes on I can see it being used more and more. Games like Forza and Titan fall show that it's more that a gimmick, I like the idea of the cars AI learning and changing or the fact that AI in Titan fall is cloud processed. What this shows is that there are already practical uses for the cloud and I garentee any developer with any aspirations to make the 'next gen' open world game, will be on the blower to MS quick sharpe atm. Now I know Sony can piggy back on a competitors network, but at what price, will the customer take the hit? I dunno, when it comes to dem clouds MS are sky high!

I wonder if Sony is happy about him slagging off the abilities of PS3, I mean Sony are still selling it and for a few more years to come. Peeps will defo get a 360 if they read that.

[QUOTE="killzowned24"][QUOTE="Tadgerot"][QUOTE="killzowned24"] its like I said, they are scared ..lmao we know the specs and they themselves had said they purposely choose a weak sauce gpu in favor for tv and kinect haha

Yeah I understand what you are saying and I Beleive the ps4 in the end will be slightly more powerful, however we have yet to hear from devs regarding the benefits ( or lack) of the lz77 compression in conjunction with esram etc. also without firm details on clock speeds, it's still up in the air abit.

you can guarantee its weak sauce otherwise they would gladly hype it.

Yep, you are more than likely correct. I have yet to hear of any real world application for this tech from and devs etc so it must be small fry...still must add some performance even if a little, they would not have included it if it did not have some purpose. Probably used for OS function or sommit.

infinite powers from the cutting-edge Microsoft Cloud Technology, only possible on the Microsoft Xbox One.

I have done a few posts on this. But even though MS has not officially announced the specs we have reliable info regarding the final specs. There sommit like this 8GB DDR 3, 32mb esram and compression/decompression movie engines. Clocks speeds have not been reported though, this obviously will impact one way or another. But yes I wish MS would officially announce something.

4:53 - shows why the headset is no longer needed

OMG LMAO!!! First it was the games, then DRM and used games policy, and now the headset issue. Sony nutsacks are running out of things to argue about.

That's really great tech, not gonna lie. Only down side is that you gotta have other voices output from the TV which might suck for some people who don't want profanity coming out lol.

You can use some wicked 5.1 headphones, but I do get you. I don't think there will be any problem with the clarity of speech kinect can pick up, it's just I don't really want people's voices blaring out of my TV not just because of what they might say, but because it ruins the in game sound effects and music for me. At least with the head set I can turn the people voices down to a level where I am comfortable listen to both. Yeah you can mute people but then what's the point. MS give me my damn head set.

Much better than kinnect 1.0. Now they just need to implement kinnect features in a controller based game that feel natural and efficient and they will be onto a winner. It will only take one dev to figure out a very useful way to use one of kinnect 2.0 features and the rest will copy. Exciting stuff.

Sony make solid hardware normally so I think it will be fine heat wise, although the internal power supply does concern me a tad. The thing that would worry me more is the noise, it's probably gonna be loud because of its size to get the airflow. On the plus side this gens mandatory installs will mean the death of spinning DVD sounds. Oh the bliss of it all.

Hmmm, has to be said EA are wrong here big time. In a high end PC I would expect a Titan and none of the consoles can compete with that. All I can think is that he means the architecture is next gen, ie it has not be done before.
