Kingdom Hearts II

Hello! This game is so freakin awesome! I'm really far into it now, i'm visiting Port Royal for the second time now, and just trashed the first Grim Reaper. I fought both the easiest and the hardest battles i've yet seen in a kingdom hearts game last night. the easiest, oddly enough, was the 1,000 Heartless challenge. Those Heartless didn't stand a chance against my Sora, even though it was just me by my little lonesome. I only rregret not just going in there swinging, and not using any reaction commands which made the battle shorter. now the hardest one was the Boss fight right before that. Ohmigod! That guy beat me seven ways to Sunday. Every time i tried to get close to him, he'd blast me with geyser after geyser. then on the rare chances i actually got to be close enough to hit him, after the second hit, he'd throw me around like a cheap rag-doll. but i finally beat him! Hint: don't use any Forms, you'll need Donald and Goofy to serve as distractions, if nothing else. well, back to the game!

I'm not dead yet!

hello. i've been really busy lately playing suikoden V and Kingdom Hearts II (which i recieved as a late birthday presemt last tuesday, Shennie :P ) so, yeah there's been quite a bit going on on the gaming front. but also this time away from GS has given me opportunity to think and reflect on my whole GS life. one of the cheif things i've decided is that my story is going into hiatus until summer. need to charge up the mental solar batteries, y'know. Which reminds me, I LOVE kingdom Hearts 2! it is so friggin cool, but..i'm not as far in it as i was. cause i started out in easy mode, and got pretty darn far, then found out i couldn't get the special ending in easy mode. so i started over in normal mode. just about back to where i was. already done beast's castle, land of dragon's, and left hades underworld with Auron in tow. plus, the new Gummi Ship stages are worth playing just by themselves! they improved those 1,000%! well, got to go back to work. see ya.

Super Bionic Death Battlers Update, Go!

Hello! :D Well, lot to report on since my last entry was like 87 years ago. First off, my folks are fine, and driving around in their brand new car. And Dad loves rubbing it in, too. I bought Ys: Ark of Naphistim for PSP two weeks ago, and it's a really good game. The animation style is jaw-droppingly gorgeous, and the gameplay is outstanding. There's so much to do! :D Bought Suikoden V last week. This game is GooD! All the Suikoden's have been good, but this one's the best one yet. That's not to say it doesn't have some issues( I Can't save on the Overworld. And this would be because...? ). Found out the hard way that enemies in a region get tougher the farther you go in the game. Good thing monsters take gold, too. 8) Found out that toilets and PSP's do Not mix well together Sunday. Luckily, it was in it's zipper case, so almost no water got actually on it. Also luckily, it was 'fresh' water, but let's not go there. :P I'm actually gonna have to wait to buy Kingdom Hearts II, and that sucks. Big Time. But I have this friend named Bill, and he has prior dibs on my cash for the next couple of weeks. oh, well. :( I realise i left everyone hanging on the story, and i'm sorry about that. i will attempt to have a new chapter up by Friday night, hopefully. and..yeah, that's it. i'm done. :)

I just got back!

Hello! :D sorry i haven't been around to put up my story or update or anything guys, but i just got in from atlanta, georgia after seeing to my parents. they had went down there for a little mini-vacation, but ended up being in a pretty serious wreck Thursday night. So, i hopped on a flight down there, and stayed there at the hospital with them until they were released. I offered to pay their air-fare back home, but they said the insurance agent had given the green light for a replacement vehicle, since the wreck was the other guy's fault. They said they were going to finish their planned outing. I tell ya, parents nowadays. no idea how much us kids worry about them. but yeah, so anyways, i'm back now. :)

Playstaion III

ok, so it's been delayed until november. big deal. i don't really care when it comes out, i'll get it when i can. and even though the remote controller is incredibly stupid, i'll prolly pick up a Revolution, too. and maybe, just maybe, if it ever goes down to $50, I'll buy an X-Blow. not really interested in the x-blow180.

Story News

yeah, i'm not gonna give anything away, but i will give you just enough to make you squirm..because i like to watch you squirm. :P lol

I expect there to be a maximum of five, Maybe six, more chapters to go before Book II An Unmasked Midnight wraps up.
The title of the last part of my little trilogy here will be Book III: A False Dawn.
You better appreciate all the characters while they're here.  Some will leave this mortal coil.
And some will...change. And not always for the best. Mwahahaha!! ;)

An Unmasked Midnight- To Slay a Dragon

The tallest of the High Council members said, "You have all been a thorn in our side for far too long. To stop you, we are willing to make certain...sacrifices."  Keleida shot back, " The only thing being sacrificed around here will be you!"  "Watch and learn, little one. Watch..and know Fear." Saying that, the five members of the Pale Death formed a large circle in the middle of Pit floor, chanting with ancient magic.
"We can beat'em, right Koerth? We've faced the worst these court magicians could throw at us, and triumphed! We can win this one too, right?"
As Koerth stared at the black robes of the wizards in front of him, he wasn't so sure. For not only did the have to worry about surviving, they had to find a way to freedom after that. And judging by the horrifying screech that just sounded from whatever unearthly creature the wizards had just summoned, neither was going to be very easy. For in their midst, the Necromancers had summoned forth their most foul, powerful fell beast: a Bone Dragon. Surrounded by four undead skeleton warriors welding different weapons, the mindless skeletal drake stepped out onto the field of battle. And all five of the Necromancers robes fluttered to the ground! "Yes..Yes! We have succeeded in bonding our very souls to these creatures to make them stronger, faster, more intelligent. Our lives are forfeit, but now so are yours!" the Dragon said in the old wizards voice. Throwing the skull of bone back, the zombie dragon shouted, "Let the Games Begin!" The guards immediately released Koerth's companions from their bonds, and gave them their weapons, before beating a hasty retreat. The crowd in the stands roared with excitement, eager to see blood, no matter whose. His friends gathered around him as the two groups sized each other up. "What's the plan, Koerth?" Antonia asked. Koerth said, "Pick an opponent. Bash it's head in. Move on. That sound good to you?" "Xeus said sarcastically, "I love it when a plan comes together." Just then their enemies charged. Koerth said, "Attack!" and the crowd cheered.
Antonia's opponent made use of a double-bladed sword, and was using it as a staff, moving it almosttoo quick for her to block with her bow. With no vital organs to hit, she didn't know how she was going to beat this foe.
Visu's target was once a warrior like him, weidling an enormous battleaxe. It should be child's play for Visu to take one mighty swing, and sever the skeltons animated spine.. But the zombie warrior knew this, too. Therfore, it always kept it's axe in between it and the mighty warrior. Xeus and Keleida faced similar problems with their opponents, too.

Koerth's opponent laughed at his pitiful efforts to strike him. The dragon took to the air with his wings of bone, and dived at him. Barely moving out of the way in time, Koerth managed to swing Wayfinder around fast enough to connect with one of the wings. His entire sword arm almost came out of it's socket from the force of the blow. It had been like hitting solid stone!
"Surprized? These constructs would never be a match for you normally. But with our spirits backing them, these old bones are almost as strong as mithril. And we won't wear out, but eventually..you will.. Mwahaha!" Koerth knew he was right. The best they could do against them was to simply hold them at bay, and then fatigue would set in, and their defenses would drop. The audience couldn't care either way, they were getting their money's worth.
Koerth shouted, "This is all One Big Mess, if you know what I mean!" Suddenly understanding, Koerth's companions shifted focus, and stopped just defending themselves, and started guiding their battles. Slowly, ever slowly, dodging blows that would have killed them all the way, the party started to herd their foes toward the middle of the Pit. Aunar wondered what that would accomplish, since the amount of blows against each increased, which only added to the bruises each one was receiving.
Having trapped the Zombie Dragon in the center of the mass, Koerth drew Wayfinder before him. "I call upon Ventus, Incarnation of the Wind itself! Let a Cyclone now form from the very ground where they stand!" The wind shifted. Began to blow harder and harder. Dirt and debris started to swirl around the undead as they shrieked in rage. Suddenly, they all lost their footing inside the cyclone, and were trapped spinning inside the vortex. Knowing that alone would not be enough, Koerth said, "Now I also call upon Ignis, Master of Flame and Fire! Pour your power into the vortex itself!"  From the center of the stationary twister, a gout of flame appeared. Then began to spread, until it filled up the inside of it. Indeed, it became as if it was a cyclone of fire instead.
The horrified screaming and yelling of the beings inside told Koerth that it was having the desired effect. When the last scream had dissapated, and the smell of burnt flesh had left the air, Koerth let the Cyclone die.
All around him, his companions were battered, bruised, and bloodies. But they were all still alive! Koerth collapsed to the ground with the strain of having to control such forces..
"Splendid! simply marvelous! so it Is true..you have masted two of the ancient Materra!" Aunar's voice called from above the Arena floor. "Then you should aprreciate the little surprise I have in store..just for you." The emporer signaled for a large door on the far side to be opened. "If you make it out this door, you shall be considered free to be on your way. But it will not be as simple as that. Oh no..."
As the doors opened, Koerth, Visu, Antonia, Xeus, and Keleida saw the shadow of a massive creature. From what little light shown upon it, it looked to be made entirely of metals, yest was green in color. Almost too tall for the door, it lumbered forth. Radiating power. And then they knew.
"Our Empire discoved this creature many years ago, and have slowly made him come around to an Arena-style of thinking. He now exists to only kill, or be killed. I believe you are familiar with him?...Good."
Staring Death in the face, Koerth heard the Emporer shout, "Creta, Materra of Earth! Attack!!" ...

Oops, I Missed It Again

I'm sorry guys. I meant to just take a little 30 minute nap when i got home. turned into four hours. and we're having some bad storms right now, so the power might go out before i get the story up. I'll try this again tommorow night. It'll give me time to make it better. Yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

PSP Update

Hello! :D

Ok, so I've had my PSP for about two weeks now, and things are going pretty good. As far as games go, I've bought Dynasty Warriors, Hot Shots Golf Open Tee, Lord of the Rings Tactics, and Lumines. I've also got Dark Crystal, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, and Underworld on UMD. Upgraded to 2.6 Firmware. Still can only surf the Web using Work's connection. oh well. Got a 156 Memory Stick..need a 1 Gig. tried to install an emulater that was reputed to work on 2.6 versions. have no idea if it works or not, cause too many files named the same darn thing, and i only need to install two of them(i think). going to try to find a .txt reader, so i can put my story on it and laugh at how bad it is.
speaking of the story, latest update down below, new update tommorow..if anyone still cares.

An Unmasked Midnight- Enemy Mine

Koerth  felt pain awaken him from what little slumber he had gotten. "Wake up, Pit-scum! Our Lord will soon be here to speak to you. And if he doesn't like what he hears, they'll be hell to pay."
Koerth's sleep-addled mind struggled to remember why he was in this situation. Two weeks. For two long weeks, all he and the others had known ever since ariving here on the run from the Elves was..the Pit.
The Pit was the name of the gladitorial-style Arena located here, in the heart of the Celedon Empire's capitol city, Valal. Here, the paranoid Emporer Aunar III extorted his subjects to place bets upon the outcome of certain battles. Dubbed 'Pit Stops' with good reason, the fights usually consisted of captured monsters vs. the Emporer's latest enemy. Everyone always bet on the monster. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that whenever the human won, the Pit floor was immediately filled with acid, and the battle declared a draw.
This was what awaited them if they ever crossed the line over onto Aunar's list of enemies. The very same Aunar that was now being let into Koerth's cell. Immediately Koerth was put in mind of a hungry predator, searching everywhere for signs of his next prey. "Your friends have been less than forthcoming, even with all our efforts to..'persuade' them..otherwise.  Now I receive word that you shall be taken off my hands by my supeiriors in the Order, and that does not amuse me, Koerth. That does not amuse me at all. I would know how your group came to be in my garrison, who you are working for, and how much you know!"
"You think we are spies? We work for no one!" Koerth replied increduously. How could they be spies, when the only time he saw his friends was when they were on the Arena floor?
"Very well then. When the Pale Death arrive tommorow, I shall hand you over to them."
Koerth's face drained of blood. "The..Pale..Death?!"
The Emporer's face took on a sinister gleam, "Ah, so you have had dealings with them before. I was curious. Yes, I am an adept in the Order of the Pale Death. And even though I am Emperer of Celedon, even my empire must bow before it's true master: the Vile Lord. I shall have to content myself with the death of your friends tommorow.  Pity." With that, Aunar III strode out of the cell, seemingly leaving Koerth to his fate.
Seperated from Wayfinder, and Caroline, as he was, sleep did not come easily that night.

The next morning, he was not led down to the Pit floor as he had grown accoustomed. He was instead taken to the personal veiwing box of Aunar himself. "Good, there you are. The Death arrived earlier then expected, and have told me many things. But first, look at the Pit floor." Koerth looked out and saw that all of his friends, though battered and bruised, were still alive. They had been led out in chains, and now their gaurds simply waited for the start of the match to release them and give them their weapons. On the other side of the floor, five senior members of the High Council of the Pale Death all stood, apparently willing to play things Aunar's way. Thier rich black robes seemed to suck in all the surrounding light. The Emporer spoke loud enough to be heard by all the audiance, but he spoke to Koerth's party, "Your leader, is dead. Your hope, is gone. For crimes against the Empire, you shall now suffer death."
Aunar then turned to Koerth, "Your friends are going to die. And when they are through with them, the Necromancers shall come for you. And you shall be taken to be slain before the Vile Lord himself. But, I offer you a choice. This Blade," and here he presented Koerth with Wayfinder, "seems to be what they are really after, not you. Simply cast aside your Sword, swear allegience to me, and you shall disappeared in the Pale Death's eyes. But I shall make you my heir, with all the wealth, power, and fame that entitles. And perhaps one of your friends could be spared. A Bride, perhaps? The beautiful Ranger, or the captivating Thief? What say you to this?"
Knowing there was really only one choice to be made, Koerth said, " I Choose Life!" and and ran and hurled himself, Wayfinder in hand, to the floor of the Pit below.
The battle comenced....
