I'll respect your opinions though I don't 100% agree with them. Would it be nice if it was free? Well yeah of course. But its not and probably never will be. All I know is I've had an Xbox for about 3 years now and never had any problem with the online. So I'll pay; as long as it functions as it should.

@armandoisgreat You have a point but XBox Live's service is pretty good and IMO worth paying for. But to each their own.

If F2P dominates the future of gaming you can count me out. I'll find a different hobby to spend my time and money on.

Looks like DeadSpace is doing what F.E.A.R. did. Survival Horror is slowly dying out. Don't get me wrong the game looks fun, but from what I've seen it doesn't look like they're sticking with the original DeadSpace's "horror first" mentality.

Article is so one-sided it's not even funny. Not too mention it's not very interesting at all. Who cares that fans can change stuff they don't like. Next you'll tell me modding shouldn't be allowed because it's changing the "Artist's" vision of the game.
