[QUOTE="Odrec"]Xbox 360 and exclusive are contradictory terms.tempest91
Kind of like Fanboy and logic?
more like: this kind of thread and usefulness ;)let's see! We got Bayonetta it's an AAAE but a AA multiplat, we also got ME2 it's a console exclusive, we also got BFBC2 demo, it's a free timed console exclusive(better than MAG)
All this in one month, nice line up! ;)
is this a joke? AAAE multiplat? Timed exclusive demo? Yep if you want to play bayonetta AAA it's exclusive to the xbox360, but you can play the AA version on the ps3 if you want.. And yes all this thread is a joke as usual from the TC..let's see! Cool story Bro. The cell is NOT a failure and several PS3 exclusive are evidence of that. The cell is also NOT just used for gaming, so how can it be a failure when 1. Its produced the best looking console games to date. 2. Is used in the medical field ect.djsifer011. cell does not produce games, devs does ;) And all devs have different objectives, about 90% of them want's to make money, and some of them like ND are paid by sony to make the best looking game they can for marketing purpose! 2. We are in a gaming forum so why should I care about medical field in my topic?
yeah, because 8 player co-op, 32 vs 32, 128 vs 128, and moving titans are running on a "normal" cpui_am_interested
What's you're point? yes any cpu can do this, 8 players coop, 32vs32, titants etcÂ.. They have done this since at least 10 years while running an anti-virus, windows, msn messenger all this with different hardware at the same time lol...
really? a pentium 4 from 10 years ago can handle 8 player co-op and 32 vs 32 online with the same level of physics and animating as resistance 2? i guess sony should have included a pentium 4 then a pentium 4 can handle the physics and animating of a moving level-sized titan like in GoW3? i guess sony should have included a pentium 4 then a pentium 4 can process blu-ray encoding? i guess sony should have included a pentium 4 then I didn't say a pentium 4 could run resistance that's silly.. you said a pentium 4 cannot run a game with 8 players co-op, I was telling you it could.. Back on topic, a totaly different cpu architecture was not needed to run resistance, any good cpu like the one the xbox360 use can run resistance and actually the ps3 could run resistance better with 1 gig of ram..[QUOTE="MC3887"]yeah, because 8 player co-op, 32 vs 32, 128 vs 128, and moving titans are running on a "normal" cpuThey would have been better off with a good GPU and and normal but good CPU. At 600$ they could have out peformed the 360 part wise easily.

No they wouldn't. The Cell still beats the Core i7 in 32bit float performance.
What lol ? 32bits float performance is not the only thing a games needs... you should do some research ;) Sony could have made the ps3 a lot more powerful with just 1 gig of ram! But no they wasted billions in research for the cell
