Stradegy guides are supposed to guide you!!!

I bought a stradegy guide for Final Fantasy VIII. I don't normally buy stradegy guides, but I got tired of searching through waves and waves of walkthroughs to get to the card and GF databases. This guide by David Cassidy, published by Brady Games, also included a walkthrough, magic and item guides, as well as a bestiary, a section devoted to giving you every bit of information about each monster. The kicker is: It doesn't include any information about the boss. Neither does the walk through. One of the biggest aspects of a video game is the final boss. Why the hell isn't it included in this guide?! This frustrates me alot. I'm not one to use stradegy guides unless I get stuck... and I got stuck on the boss. Thanks alot David Cassidy... Jerk...

G-games... I need... Games...My Thoughts on the Summer Game Drought

The summer game drought. It's been a statement circulated the gaming community for a while now. I agree with it totally. There aren't alot of great great games coming out this summer. I do beleive it has it's good sides too. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has a stack of games they have yet to complete, or play to thier full potential. This summer is my RPG summer. I'm working on Final Fantasy 8 right now. After that I go to Chrono Cross and then The Xenosaga Series. So to anyone who reads this, don't whine about the drought! Use this drought to finish the games you've forsaken... Like Forsaken 64!

Slighty dissapoint but with high expecations

I finally finished Final Fantasy 7 last night. I know I'm one of the only people who hasn't finished it yet but I only just recently got my PS2. This game is raved for having one of the best storylines in a video game, ever... Needless to say I was dissapointed, not to the point of me saying "this game blows", it was a great game, but the story just wasn't the best I'd ever seen. Maybe I'll enjoy the story a little more once AC comes out. One of my major argument against the story is that it was too predictable. Nevertheless this was a great game and the whole thing just seemed epic. I just wish I didn't have such high expectations for it.

Yay For Open Ended Gameplay!

I just started playing The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind again. Man is it ever addicting! I've been playing about 3-4 hours every day and that's saying alot since finals are coming up and i've been spending alot of time with my girlfriend as well. I'm pumping myself up for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion! It looks absolutely amazing! One of the things that turned me off about Morrowind the first time I played it was the graphical content. Good but not great. The new Elder Scrolls game looks amazing though! I can't wait!

So excited!

I've been broke for the past few weeks because of a sickness that has caused me to be absent from work. One of the things I was sad about was the presale of Star Wars Episode III tickets. Just recently, I was offered the tickets for a slightly higher price then they were sold, for the first showing in the local theatre. I gladly accepted and I'm skipping school to go see it in the afternoon. Wookies for life!

Currently Playing: May

I've been playing Ninja Gaiden a lot. It's a very difficult game but I like it like that. Keeps me on my toes. I'm at Chapter 9 right now and I hope to finish it by the end of the month. I stopped playing Neverwinter Nights a while back. It is a great game but it's very repetitive and I needed to take a break from it. After I finish Ninja Gaiden I'm going to dive back into Final Fantasy 7, which, beleive it or not, I still haven't completed yet. I decided to buy it and finish it for the Advent Children movie that's coming out later on this year.

Two final words: E3 Peoples!
