This is pretty sad. For those who don't care about the visual upgrade, I'd recommend staying away from the Pro for now. Devs aren't giving us the option to turn off the visual enhancements.

I haven't seen a single Pro patched game that allows you to play the game in it's original/vanilla mode with the support of the new hardware to boost framerate performance. Every single option has been about enhanced visuals and higher framerate, but nothing to support STABLE framerates.

Really frustrated with this trend.

Beyond Two Souls is not worth a new PS3, but The Last of Us is. So yes, get a new PS3. :)
