All hail Lord British! I am so looking forward to "Shroud of the Avatar". A part of my life has been on hold since Ultim IX: Ascension. The best Ultimas, imho were IV through VII, however.

DA2 suffered from extremely repetitive use of recycled environments. The idea of a more expansive world really appeals to me. I loved DA: Origins. I'm looking forward to playing DA3.

Perhaps state governments *should* be in the business of game development. Every state can have an office of game development. Successful games will provide an additional revenue stream. The states that make the best-selling games can then lower their taxes.

In the future, humanity will take its brand of friendship (i.e., hostility) out into the galaxy, take control the resources, and reign supreme over all the other races. Hopefully we'll be more peaceful by the time we reach that level of development, although peace in space doesn't make for very interesting gameplay.

I sunk so many hours into the first game and its expansions, I can see myself doing the same with GW2. As long as I still have time to prepare for the end of the world and/or mass UFO landings on December 21st of this year, it's all good. :)This video? Short, sweet and to the point.

I'm an illustrator, and when I bought a gaming console a few years ago I opted for the PS3. Of course, 90% of that decision was probably the built in Blu-ray player. Still, I certainly remember that the artwork and art design for the PS3 game "Heavenly Sword" were one of its major selling points.

I played it for a month when it first came out, and I think I returned maybe a year later when they had a free weekend. I think it had the best dungeons of any game back in the day. Even though there's now a free to play version, I doubt I'll be going back. Too much other stuff to play these days.

I'm still wondering if bushes rustle when you, or animals, or monsters move through them, or if the Creation engine just wasn't designed with that level of physical realism in mind. Crysis had destructible vegetation. Titan Quest had grass and plants that reacted to motion. I guess I'll have to wait and see. Less than two months to go. Beyond that, nice bunch of videos!

In the eighties I was playing games on the Apple II+. My favorite games were the Ultima series. When Ultima made the move to IBM clones (i.e., "PCs") at the start of the nineties, so did I (we'll just ignore that little period of flirtation with the Amiga machines). Of course, eventually Windows came along, and now PC gaming pretty much means Windows gaming. And guess what? PC gaming is not dead! It's still going strong, and I think it can coexist just fine with consoles and mobile devices.
