with that budget you wont find the laptop your looking for. if you wanna run todays games smooth on MAX then for laptop costs your looking at quite an inventment.

definatly buy or rent a dvd like he suggested. i did it for my tv and it actually helped a lot more than i would of thought. all the colers and different settings look better.

a screenshot would be nice. it kinda sounds like artifacts. have you been OC'ing lately, or is your card hotter than normal?

good deal for a non-gaming computer. if your looking to play anything other than doom on it though dont buy.

i have a 21 in flat screen CRT by sun. ( http://www.mce.com/shop/product_detail/product_id/22079/category_id/1088 ) looking for an LCD screen that has better quality than it (not constricted to any price)

is 1360x768 converted to "HDTV talk" 720p or 1080i ? same question for 1920X1080 ,im having a little problem converting my vga resolutions to the hdtv resolutions. (just wanna know what resolution i want when i wanna play the old xbox games that support 720p and nothing higher)

Ive been getting the exact same thing in firefox, IE looks fine... but im not a big fan of IE.
