TimeSplitters: Future Perfect surprised me with its wealth of content and it was pretty good.helium_flashThat game was rubbish, just like TS 2, had a really boring Single Player (the first one had a really good one mind you) and playing the Arcade on your own wasnt very rewarding. Its a shame the online community died so quickly = (
[QUOTE="Taz720"][QUOTE="sonicmj1"]That was complete trash, i dont understand how it got such a high score here. But then again, its the same reason why The Aviator was so loved...Freedom Fighters was pretty surprising.
I was also pleasantly surprised by Phantom Dust, Jet Set Radio Future, Crackdown, and Ico.

Considering I listed five games there, you're going to have to help me out. Which one do you think was complete trash?
If it was Freedom Fighters (the most likely suspect), it got such a high score because it had great mechanics for a third-person shooter. I didn't love it that much right after I played it, but looking back, I really appreciate its innovations. The best thing about it was the squad control mechanics. Just being able to easily move your men around, divide them up, and get them to act was a great thing for the game, and something that no shooter has done as well in an accessible manner. The sort of objective-based chapters, where you accomplished sub-missions to open the map towards certain goals, was a nice touch. And the setting was really cool, IMO. Communists are underused in games.
Now when is IO going to make a sequel?
Fair enough you explaned it very nicely to why you enjoyed it. Oh and you can probably guess what game:PMGS3 story was simple and the pathetic 1 dimensional characters in the game where laughable. And 2 story is much more emotional and deeper than MGS1 even tho 1 is closeIt was n00bified to death because whiners didnt understand MGS 2.[QUOTE="Taz720"][QUOTE="lordsettra12"][QUOTE="Hippostrike"]In terms of story its terrible in comparison to the first and third.lordsettra12
Exactly people whined about MGS2 story being to complex, and other things, and MGS3 was n00bified bigtime. MGS4 looks like it's very story driven, so I can't wait for thatWell see, but considering how everyone loved MGS3s storyline even though it was the weakest of the three by far, i dont think Kojima will be so ambitious again because to some, a large number of plot twists constitutes complexity

are u high? 1 and 3 were far superior, raiden should die
Are u high? MGS2 is far superior to MGS3 and MGS1, Raiden was a amazing character, probably MGS series most complex character, and actually showed some emotion in battletoo bad no one whos really played the game can understand Raiden. When MGS4 comes around, and its exactly like Kojima said, we will all love Raiden. There was a reason for Raiden being such a wheener, it was important to the story. But really, it doesnt change the fact that he sucks
