Its finally coming out!?

It sucks because it took waaaaay tooooo long for this book to release.

I don't even remember the details about how last book ended.

I'm going to have to re-read these books before I jump into this one.

Lets discuss this once the re-reveal actually happens shall we?

ImSwordMan
^Pretty much this However if you are asking what I'm expecting from the Wii U showcase in 2012,then that would be First party games and a reworking of the tablet controller concept Especially the latter because when I heard that there would be only 1 tablet controller per console, I grew skeptical of how this would work. It would be really confusing for developers to work with because they would have to work with both wiimote and tablet controls which would be just a mess. So I really just want Nintendo to stick with one control setup.

A survey conducted between October 17th and 19th asked 1,083 people about their interest in upcoming consoles. Of those surveyed, only 9.4% said they would buy a Wii U, 36.1% said they were interested but wouldn't purchase one and 54.5% said they weren't interested in the console at all. For Vita, 10.2% said they would buy the handheld, 35.2% said they were interested but wouldn't buy one and 54.5% said they had no interest.IGN

A little worried since the Ps Vita is coming out in Febuary. Expected for the WiiU since little to no information is out yet.

Thoughts?

The only actual game he made was Break Breaker.

At Best, he only indirectly helped the game industry by promoting the multifunctionality use of the Iphone

He was a great businessman, nothing else.

[QUOTE="foxhound_fox"]The more I read about this game, the less I want to play it. Good going Bioware.gameguy6700
Don't read the script. It will make you not even want to play the game. It's that bad. NONE of the choices you made in ME1 or ME2 mattered. ME3 finds a convenient excuse to force you into the one single plot line they've come up with. And when I say that no choices I mattered, I literally mean that not a single choice you ever made in the entire series mattered. I'm not just talking about saving the Rachni, saving/destroying the collector base, or saving/destroying the Geth, but even things like choosing whether or not a crew member dies.

If that is true(I ain't reading no spoilers!), then Bioware is officially lost to us. I thought the Mass Effect series was all about Epic single-player and character choices that would either benefit you or haunt you throughout the entire series. Something tells that this was done so that it would be easier to integrate that mediocre multiplayer into this. Its not coming out till next year so wait before completely overreact but I will say that I'm very wary of this sequel :(

I'm hyped for this game, but also sad, seeing how many gamers do not give a damn about platformers anymore and only care about shooters.

aia89

Yeah I know, and with a 60 dollar price tag, it well put many people off because of platformers are treated these days, with them being priced 15 bucks or lower across digital distribution. I can only see it doing well on the Wii since it established itself as a plaftomer console. I just hope its not Okami all over again.

Even Hollywood thinks video game companies are overly-controlling douchebags.

Gee what a surprise.

I agree with this but Ubi does get some points for actually trying to make a good movie and not some sellout block buster(at least that's what I hope they're doing).

I'm just glad that even it ups being a total disaster, Ubisoft can cancel the project immediately and spare us the horror.

Sony Pictures recently signed a deal with Ubisoft to put Assassin's Creed on the silver screen and some Hollywood insiders are astounded by the amount of control Ubisoft will retain over the project. Apparently Sony had to yield control over the budget, principal cast, script and the release date to the rightful owner of the IP. NYMag points out that DreamWorks was the first studio to pass on the film project, so yeah, Spielberg did not get that kind of deal. Universal and Warner Bros. were also in the race to acquire the film rights to Assassin's Creed and insiders have told NYMag that both were turned off by the publisher's demands. As one studio chief who dropped out of the bidding race put it, "They want to be able to pull the plug on the whole movie's development if they decide to. It's ridiculous." It's great to see how Ubisoft is protective of their franchise and rightfully so with all video game movie adaptions ending up becoming horrible abominations. I'll be keeping my eyes this one as it will be interesting to see how well video game developers fare on directing an actual movie Source:http://www.destructoid.com/hollywood-perplexed-by-ubisoft-control-over-asscreed-film-215301.phtml
