When did windows xp support DX.10?

He was referring to the "cheap video card". And I responded accordingly. His video card is capable of Dx.10

putting it on a pedestal? sorry, but Kojima is the most talented director of games. If you want to see an undeserving game put on a pedestal prematurely, go look for that Halo thread. It's nearby, somewhere. MGS has earned it's place as one of the best series ever made. get over it.

Can you please tell me what's so great about MGS that makes its creator "the MOST talented director of games"? MGS got 8.5, MGS2 got 9.6, MGS 3 got 8.7/9.0 and MGS4 we don't know about yet. There are better games than MGS series. Half Life got 9.4, Half Life: Opposing Force got 9.0 and Half-Life 2 got 9.2. The UT series has UT at 9.5, UT2K3 at 8.8 and UTK2K4 at 9.4, Unreal Championship at 9.0. Even Halo has 9.7 and 9.4. So I really doubt MGS or its creator is as GODLY as you claim.

And back on topic, MGS4 looks awesome and the multiplayer doesn't look bad either, just not great. But I'd have fun just going around grabbing people's nuts >=)

We're also soooooo sick of Halo bashing threads. Seriously, sure the game is over rated and its true worth as a game is being blown completely out of proportion by fanboys but why can't people just acknowledge the fact that Halo games are none the less fun and are in fact some of the better MP FPS games out there? Plus, Halo games have a really high level of polish and the pacing and action is pretty intense when playing with some friends.
