Kids need to be protected, lot's of weird people/perverts online

simple as that

Hmm, care to explain why someone who is 17 years and 364 days old needs silly "protection" and someone who is 18 years old does not? Or perhaps, why even if you're over 18, if you've been a customer for a while, too bad! You don't get to use it either!

Do you not realize that 17 years and 364 days does not equal 18 years?

Not if you're born on a leap year.

Umh..but i can talk with my friends who just have the regular msn then, or do they need a different msn than the standard one?ilovesnowboard

You can talk to anyone on your original friends list that you have on your computer. Your friends don't need to sign up for anything. They just use their normal accounts.

What is it ? First i thought it was just a simplified version you could use if you didn't have it installed on a computer, but that's what the web messenger is for..so what is the so called Windows live messenger? ilovesnowboard

It so that people on Xbox 360s can talk to people on Windows Live Messenger on their PC's.

Sign in to Xbox LIVE, go to the Xbox LIVE blade, then select your gamercard and press A. Go down to 'Auto Sign-in' and press A. You can set your preference for Xbox Live and Windows Live Messenger separately here.

When I first got live for 360 I used my dads credit card and his windows live ID. Now since Ive had my credit card for awhile I want it to be on my name only using my Windows Live ID. Also when i try to change it I cant go into Xbox Live Controls to turn on Ads and Featured Downloads because my dad doestn even know his password to his windows live ID (he doenst even use it). Xbox makes it where you cannot change the email, only the password. Wtf?cyrax453

Sorry, its not possible to do this at this time.

In a magazine I read, they said that vibrations from a sub woofer next to a PC could (not guranteed) damage the hard drive. Its your own risk.

Totally agree. Surely more than half the people that use IMs are under 18 anyway. What the hell were Microsoft thinking.

MSN Messenger (now Windows Live Messenger) and Xfire are the only IM clients I use.
