ohh BTW:

if you read the thing about the One Year Anniversary show below. ROH is having a sale where that is on SALE for only $10. If you have that much....go buy it right now!

"Lets go you maggets! It's the last day of camp!"

hey everyone. Today is the last day of Basketball camp for us. Today should be a blast as we are having competitions for things such as T-shirts, Gatorade, and other good things. The past couple of days of camp have been good. Yesterday was awesome! We started by playing 7-go, which is just typically 4 people on a team shoot the ball from about the free throw line and you must score 7 baskets before the other teams do. There are about 12 teams on 6 baskets. Once you hit 7 you yell "GO! GO!" and you run to the other wing of the basket or to another basket. First one to get 7 4 times wins. Fun game.

After 7-GO we moved into position drills once again. We did the Miken drill, lots of cut and shoot shots, form shooting. That went on for about 40 minutes. Now the fun part. Top Dog Basketball. My team stayed in the 2nd spot (1 less then top dog, 1 more then dog pound) and needed 1 win to make top dog. With 1 game left we made it only to lose :(. After Top Dog we played 2, 12 minute games of 4-4. I had about 4 blocked shots and nearly knocked a kid out. I was an animal! Batista has nothing on me! One more day left of camp, and it should be a blast!

Also yesterday I got my broken down car back from the shop. The 1988 oldsmobile (yes, the car is a year older then me) had a ton of problems with it. $500 later (Thank god I'm spoiled by my parents and I didn't have to pay for that) I'm out driving the car again. It stalled on me twice yesterday so I took it back today only for it not to stall! GRR! Anyways, looks like I might miss Smackdown tonight, when the show looks great. I might be going to Sioux City to look at a Ford Contour. One of my mom's employees dad owns a car dealer. He has a 1999 Ford Contour with 60,000 miles for $4,000 (The price he paid) So I hope I get the car! Mom owns a Car audio business so I'm hooked with Subs, Amps, and a nice CD player :P

Make it a great day or not, the choice is yours.

Ahhh, the soreness!

Well, 1 day of camp down, 3 to go. What a day it was. The weather outside was about 95 degrees, so it was blistering hot. Luckly Camp is indoors. I just hope the football one isn't during the hot weather like this. Well we started off camp just by shooting around (I got there around 2:30, camp started at 3). Then we went into position drills. During those position drills us PW and Centers worked on post moves. We must have been squating down for about 10 minutes. no standing up at all! Lol, it did feel weird afterwards. We kept hearing coach Wilber saying "Pretend you have to take a crap in the woods and you don't want the poop to get on your shoes. Thats how your stance should be." Pretty funny lines. After position drills, it was off to form running. Typical jog, then butt kicks, high knees, jumping high knees, karoeke (right over left, right behind left), zig zag running, crossovers, behind the back. After the great form running, we went into groups and stations. The groups where seperated by grade, so I was with people I know. First we did backcuts, then off to form shooting (easiest thing of the day) and then post offence and defense. After all of those great things.....my legs where killing me. It's not over yet, we still have our 5-5-5-5-5 game. We won with 15 points while the second place team had 8. FREE GATORAIDE! Needless to say I couldn't move very well last night (not sure why) and this morning my foot and left knee keeps snaping in. It should get better.

Well as you know last night was the first night of the WWE draft lottery. Here is my some-what review of the show. (I posted this in the HOF, just copy and pasting)

Pretty solid show overall. Better then the past couple of weeks I must say. With Cena going to RAW it kept that "Anything can happen in the WWE" feeling alive. I for sure thought it would be someone like Jindrak or possibly Angle. Not Cena though. And yes, even though they will use this as bait to draw people to watch Smackdown to see if they steal Batista. I expect Cena to be back on Smackdown before the draft is over. It's just going to turn out to be Batista going to Smackdown only to have him traded the next week.

The Venis/Masters match wasn't too bad. Exceted my expectations

Hurricane/Rosey/Christy vs. Heart Throbs/Victoria was bad. Why not have the champs defend the belts or something? We will end up having Hurricane and Rosey vs. The Heart Throbs at Vengeance and Christy vs. Victoria (Vicky has been jobbing to her at house shows ) also at Vengeance.

Shelton vs. Hassan/Divari - Seen the "Foot on the rops, ref didn't see it, counts the 3, restarts the match" finish from the beginning. Yet they still keep Hassan "non-pinned" Shelton proves once again he is World Champ material, and he carried both of them to a O.K match.

Benoit vs. Snitzky - Must say, Benoit can carry anyone to a good match. He should be the champion. Not to mention a great promo earlier on

Top Moments on Raw

  1. Cena showing up
  2. Christian/Cena confrontation
  3. Nice build up to the ECW PPV

Bad moments on Raw

  1. Tyson Tomko selling Cena's punches when Cena's hand was not even near him....where's vince to say "You're Fired!"
  2. Hurricane/Rosey/Christy vs. Heart Throbs/Victoria
  3. Edge not having a match (only because that effected my GWD Fantasy league...)
  4. Kane still acting like a crybaby insted of a monster who should shoot fireballs at Lita and Edge

have a good day everyone!

Summer update.....(couldn't think of good title)

hey everyone. Time to update this non-updated journal. Over the past few days I've had the pleasure of having my soon to be step-father's family over. Yippy. Craig and Tiffany (I think thats what there names are) where driving back from Lincoln Nebraska and decided to stop by and use our house as a Holiday inn. Well it's half-way home i guess for them. That means that I had to give up my room and bed for the night and sleep on a couch with the metal parts of it sticking me in the side. Ouch. Not to mention they messed up the whole downstairs. I'm talking pool sticks all over, chairs all over, my PS2 games all over. IT WAS WORSE THEN A SLOBBERKNOCKER for those kids last night. Now I grant them the years. They are only like 11,7, and 3. So, I'm not in a great mood to deal with a bunch of n00bs in the GWD.

Now for the good news; Our school's basketball camp starts today. I didn't play for the school last year, because I decided that I should try wrestling. Easy enough to say, I'm playing basketball this year. We lost our "South Dakota Basketball player of the year" Joe Krabbenhoff (who if you follow Wisconsin basketball, he is playing there next year), so we are in need for a center. Well, I'm only going to be a sophmore this year and I know I wont get starting job (because I'm not that great) but if I can show them something these next few days then I might just have a chance. Now, I'm no shrimp at all. I'm very cut out to be a center and a linemen for school. I'm a monster. That starts at 3 pm CST today and goes until 5.

Time to talk wrestling. I have to say these past few weeks of wrestling, ok I lied past few months, have put me to sleep while watching them. The current product of the WWE is horrible. Yet, however, It is working. I attended Smackdown about 3 weeks ago. I haven't seen so many marks! I was cheering Eddie, becasuse Eddie is one of my favorites. The section I was in started crying about how Eddie kicked Rey's ass and how he should pay for leaving the family. I also must add that the best worker on Smackdown! Is not over at all. Paul London has to be the best wrestler in the Smackdown ring today.....ok, he would be Smackdown's best wrestler if he WASN'T ON FRICKEN VELOCITY EVERY WEEK! In Sewer City (Sioux City's nickname here in Sioux Falls) no one cheered for London. During the whole show I was chanting "I want London" and all the marks in the section looked over and was like "But I want to see Cena"....Grr, Well WWE I must say that your current product is working on some people. For long time followers like me, I'm bored!

Now this long entry will end on this short note. One for which I can't figure out :P. Anyways I leave you all with a list of who should move to Smackdown and who should go to Raw.

Smackdown:

  1. Christian
  2. Benoit
  3. HBK
  4. Tajiri

Raw:

  1. Charlie Haas (Feud with Shelton would be nice. Also get him away from Blahcore Holly)
  2. Rey Mysterio (Now I know that wouldn't work with the storyline with Eddie. However he could be a IC contender on Raw. Imagion Shelton vs. Rey....:D)
  3. Booker T. (Or get him a new storyline)
  4. Insert anyone besides Angle and Eddie here.

My week in general

Well, what a week! I mean, how many good things can happen in a week? Monday was the typical "Review" day for school. Nothing happends there. Tuesday was the first day of Semester test, that went alright.

My grades for tuesdays semester test:

C
77.5% (Spanish) :|

C
83.3% (Algebra)

A
95.0% (Science) WHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! only missed 2 questions

Wednesday was alright as well.

C
78.3% (Accelerated English)

B
91.3% (Weightlifting)

A
94.9% (Web page design) WHOOO!!!!!!!!!

Anyways those are my SEMESTER test scores. Thank god they aren't my final scores. THose are a lot better. School ended on wednesday also! :D

Summer starts and where do you go? Valley Fair in Minneapolis for me :D. I was there all day yesterday through the sunshine to the hail (not kidding. Nickle size hail) Lots of fun though. Rode all the rollercoasters with Nate. We must have rode the "Wild Thing" which is the main attraction to the park about 4 times. the "Corkscrew" which is a upside down coaster about 8 times. And the other coasters in there at least twice. It was a blast!

There's my week in general. It's great so far! Now that schools out.....more time on the forums. :D

Ok, I've lost all hope now.

As many of you know I attended Smackdown last night....and it Sucked! Just as bad/Worse then when Nitro was in Sioux Falls. I think I'm done with televised events (excluting PPVS). House shows are great.....but this just totally sucked. Good luck watching on Thursday, I'm sure there will be something better to do then to look for me on T.V.

Attention GS members...

If any of you see threads like "re4 help" "another re4 help" and other crap like that. My stupid dumb brother found his way into GS and has been using my name! What a dummy! He's got like 3 locked threads under my account :( So just as a warning if you see any stupid threads like this. Please remember that IT IS NOT ME!

GAH! And to think he has like 2 screen names on here.

In Just 1 month to this day...

Welp, My friend and I had a great day hanging out together. My friend Nate has become a huge wrestling fan over the past couple of years. I mean, he loves it. Makes me look like I have no passion towards it. Well anyways, Yesterday one of the guys that works at the bowling alley during our league (I bowled a 176,146, and a 141) told me about WWE Smackdown in Sioux City Iowa. I recieved an email about it a few weeks ago but didn't think much about it. Well I called Nate asking him if he would like to go. Nate jumps in the air and starts screaming on the phone like he is a 2 year old kid on christmas day. Then today came...

Today, Nate and I went golfing. I called my mom asking if we where going to get tickets because she would have to take us. (Sioux City is only about 45 minutes away from here) She told us no. Nate was bummed out because his parents told him he could go. Well then I had this great idea. The guy at the bowling alley who told me about Smackdown (My mom knows the guy because she bowls in a Wednesday night league) is taking his son to the same event. I called up Rich and asked him if he could take us to Smackdown when he goes. He has no problem with that. Nate and I scrambled onto Ticketmaster.com to purchase our tickets. We ended up getting Section 114, Row G, Seats 12-13. They look pretty good according to the seating charts.

So, over the next month or so, I have the great pleasure of thinking about sign ideas. I need some help. I've only thought of "I stole Eddie's Car!". I'm also thinking about putting my GS name on each of my signs so you guys might be able to catch on T.V. or something.

I've only been to 1 Televised event before, and it was fun while we where there, however looking at the card.....wow did it blow (See below)

August 9, 1999: Insane Clown Posse (Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J) and Vampiro defeated Lash Leroux, Norman Smiley, and Prince Iaukea...Curt Hennig and Barry Windham defeated Public Enemy...Mona pinned Little Jeanie...Chris Benoit defeated David Flair to win the United States Title...Eddy Guerrero and World Cruiserweight Champion, Rey Misteiro Jr., defeated David Taylor and Chris Adams...Kidman pinned Disco Inferno by Disqualification...Buff Bagwell defeated Scott Norton by Disqualification...Kanyon defeated Booker T....Bill Goldberg, Sting, and Hulk Hogan defeated Sid Vicious, Kevin Nash, and Rick Steiner.

I've had good luck with WWE Events (house shows) before. Those cards looked like this:

September 6, 2002 - Sioux Falls, South Dakota: Spike Dudley defeated Johnny Stamboli...Justin Credible defeated Shelton Benjamin...Raven defeated D'Lo Brown...Bradshaw defeated Christopher Nowinski...Intercontinental Champion, Rob Van Dam, defeated The Big Show...Women's Champion, Molly Holly, defeated Jacqueline. Victoria was special referee...Tommy Dreamer defeated Steven Richards...World Tag Team Champions, Lance Storm and Christian, defeated Goldust and Buh-Buh Ray Dudley...Undisputed World Champion, Brock Lesnar, defeated World Champion, Triple H.

September 24, 2004 - WWE - Sioux Falls, South Dakota: Shelton Benjamin defeated Christian...Rodney Mack and Chuck Palumbo defeated Val Venis and Maven...Yoshihiro Tajiri defeated Hurricane Helms...Randy Orton defeated Batista...World Tag Team Champions, Sylvian Grenier and Rob Conway, defeated William Regal and Eugene...Kane defeated Gene Snitsky...Randy Orton won a 17-Man Battle Royal. Other participants were: Shelton Benjamin, Christian, Val Venis, Maven, Rodney Mack, Chuck Palumbo, Yoshihiro Tajiri, Hurricane Helms, Batista, William Regal, Eugene, Rob Conway, Sylvian Grenier, Kane, Rhyno, and Tyson Tomko.

I really hope I get to see Angle, Eddie, and Rey. And also maybe RVD and Booker T. If the draft happends, I hope Benoit or Jericho get sent over to Smackdown. That would get me even more excited.

ANYWAYS! I DEMAND YOU ALL TO HELP ME WITH SIGNS!!!!!!!!!!
