I don't know why everyone keeps saying how unoptimised it is. I'd say it's far better optimised than Crysis. Crysis on my system averages only about 30 FPS on "high" settings and looks much worse than Metro. Some caps I took:Phat_Jay

You're comaring Crysis high to Metro 2033 very high? Crysis wins when it comes to outdoor enviroments, metro wins when it comes to indoors.

Yeah, because you happen to have a problem and suddenly all PC gaming sucks. I guess console gaming sucks too since my 360 has RROD'ed 3 times, and scratched my discs.

Yeah, consoles always having consistent performance is a myth. I recently tried to play a few games on my brothers PS3, and the framerate often dipped below 30 in several games.

Theres this misconception about pc games looking way better.

From a technical standpoint they will look sharper, wall tiles and whatever other doodads have a little bit more detail but honestly for all intents and purposes they look the exact same during actual gameplay.

We pay for this technicality via needing machines with 4 times the specs of consoles and major delays in most multi-platform releases.

Most games dont even bother remaking the main menu for mouse support, did u really think theyd make extra graphics for pc?

Depends on the game, most console ports will not look any better than console versions aside from the usual resolution, AA and AF. But then there's games made with PC in mind like Metro 2033 and upcoming Crysis 2 that features way more graphics options for PC.

This is true. If you're used to console gaming and haven't tried anything else,you wont have any problem. But if you try gaming on a high-end PC for a while, then going back to console gaming isn't easy. The image is just so unclear in comparison.

360 and PS3 will be basically the same, probably some minor differences. And if Crytek is not holding back, PC version will be way ahead.
