I think they will just make a better version of the gameboy again, but I dont really know. I dont think the DS will take over, as it doesnt make sense that it plays advanced games and they stop making them. They will either make DS the main, and continue selling GBA games, or else there will be some sort of new updated nintendo handheld which could either be another better gameboy, or else some new nextgen handheld.

Yeah, they cannot directly link together, I have a micro, and the port is smaller on it than the SP. You will have to buy a micro to micro link from nintendo.com, its the only way to get it, and you will also have to order a micro to SP link converter from them also. They are about $10 each and I had to order them and my total was about $25, because $5 extra for shipping and handling. I think its a ripoff that they changed the port size, but yeah, if you want to be able to go SP to micro, thats the only way, as they dont sell those accessories in stores.

hey how is the micro? is it worth buying? i m planning to buy one but its too expensive here

It is worth it to me, its not too small to see/read, it is better graphics, more smooth looking because of the smaller resolution, it is very travel friendly, faceplates protect the micro screen from pesky scratches, 5 light settings, I like it alot more than the SP.

Here is my collection. The items shown consist of 1 GBA Micro, 2 faceplates, the faceplate changer, 1 GB color (yes its pinkish), 1 GBA micro link, 1 GBA micro link adapter, 1 GBA wireless adapter (for the SP I sold for the Micro), Advance Wars 2, Fire Emblem Sacred Stones, Golden Sun 2, Golden Sun 1, Sonic, F-14 Tomcat, Metroid Fusion, Metroid Zero Mission, FF V, FFIV (not pictured, friend borrowing it), FF I-II, Zelda Link to the Past, Zelda Minish Cap, Pokemon Emerald, Mario Kart, Rebelstar Tactical Command, Pokemon yellow (GBC), Pokemon Gold (GBC), Pokemon TCG (GBC), and finally Dragon Warrior Monsters (GBC). Used to have more GBC games, but sold them at EB games and stuff. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I think it should have stood for soaring prices, since thats what the little guy costs for what your getting. I like the GBA a lot, but to be honest it is way too expensive when over half the games for it are lame I think. Most seem to be little kids games that are from cartoons or disney movies, hardly any are for teens and adults (personally I feel some adults should have better to do, but I cant judge.) If only they had a bigger variety...
