In 1996, Nintendo revolutionized 3-D game control when it introduced the analog stick on the Nintendo 64 controller. Sony quickly copied this innovation for its own controllers. Since the Wii's controller tech is clearly driving its sales, does anyone think that Sony and MS will attempt to copy the Wii's controller design and features for their next consoles (or current consoles)?
If Sony lowers the price, some gamers will rush in from the edges to buy it, which will boost sales temporarily like happened with the last "price cut." However, without a killer game I think many gamers would wait knowing that Sony may offer yet another cheaper, better package in a few months if sales fail toclimb rapidly.
