Quickly swap a the cracked disc out after purchasing it at gamespot and then immediately return it. Ask for your money back and it should work.

The only things I did like were the battle system, pacing, and world.

Battle System: Great system, really engaging and fun to use. Wish they would have introduced it fully before the game was over... somewhere around chapter 7.

Pacing: The pacing of each chapter was great, even though the story was meh. If they would have included some safe zones/safe towns in the story and progression it would have been better, but I like having to go through a few chapters before you can stop and rest and do town stuff. Having no towns or good sidequests sucks.

World: It was beautiful. Great looking and everything you'd expect from a final fantasy title. (minus the no high rise towns thing)

Some of these post lack good reasons. They do not specify what was going on in detail. A post saying that my ps3 froze and now I'm sending it to Sony (and even suggesting the same without a doubt) is ludacris. Please, do not send your system to Sony because of a simple freeze issue. The original poster's game froze 6-8 time is 30-40 hours of gameplay, is that really a big deal. My Fallout 3 game froze over well over 20 times and I didn't even think about sending it to sony. It has happend randomly during other games as well, but do you see me making a fuss...wellI am now becuase I'm just reading some cynacle stuff.

I'm really happy with the final posts that you guys put down. I do agree with many of your points. In all honesty, there wasn't any reason Hotz should have hacked the PS3. The hack is purely pirate benefit, I do hope some good will come of it but I am very skeptical. I just wanted to point out that good could come it and it's awesome that people agreed. Some may call this way of posting, posting for the sake of arguing, but I saw flaws in your posts and I point that kind of stuff out. I'm glad the people posting also pointed out the flaws in what I was talking about. This has been a educational experience for me, thanks for being good sports too and not just rage bashing/quiting. =D

Okay, this is a much better argument. Thank you for clearing up your thoughts. I do believe that this country has a poor control on guns, that is totally true.

I agree also that there is a way to control it, but with the size of our country and the large amount of conflicting beliefs, it is hard. Especially the part where the right to bear arms is in our constitution. Other countries have other issues with aggression though. England is infamous for gang brawls and such, even though less die, many still get injured. I lived in Poland for many years, and am fluent in Polish, Slovak, and Czech, and I saw a huge aggression issue there as well. No matter where you go, there will always be a bully. American's are generally arrogant because we are one of the only really secluded countries. Europe has many countries and you hear about them there because they are at your border. Like we hear about Mexico all the time, among other issues with border control. American's in general have a narrow scope. You really have to try and get information. The news in america is super biased and misinformed, as you pointed out, but there are similar channels of news everywhere that can be considered as bull.

One of the most effective ways of slowing aggressive tendencies in the US is stopping bullying. Unfortunately, that may be having a negative effect. I totally think there is more aggresive, gun touting, bursts now than ever. When bullying was accepted as a ritual, before the 1990's, people knew it was happening. Parents knew, teachers knew, friends knew. Now it is secluded, bullies focus on one or a few children. Those children snap because they have no one to turn to and their parent went through it, so I assume that most say "get over it" or there is a lack consoling when it arrises.

Every post I have read says the same things. One, you guys are focusing on the gun thing, that was a example of a tool and not literal. Maybe a bad example, my fault, but wow....anyway. Two, you guys all say that there is no good thing that comes from hacking or that hacking has no place in the world or something along those lines. That's great that you feel that way and not everyone has the spirit to learn how to hack, but the real question is, "what is hacking?" Hacking is not always bad, look at all the things they did with the Kinect. Another word for hacking, is modding. Do you disprove of modding a game, I'm sure you don't. Some companies actually embrace hacking and create tools for you to use, like Blizzard games. Some games get hacked, like Half-Life, but you don't see Valve in a lawsuit.

Yes, I understand that these are Games, not a console. Further examples that may suit the argument better are Roms, or the Homebrew channel on the Wii. An example that mimics how people took roms and created new content from it: With the rootkeys now available, a person could create mods for a console game and implement it, creating replay value similar to hacked mods on PC games. You guys are quick to dismiss the whole thing because there isn't any non-pirate tools...yet. What about being able to back-up your games by copying them, forget about that? Is that not a useful and not illegal method. (wait, did that just blow your whole argument of "Nothing good comes from this hack"? I think so.) Many top system security officers learned from hacking, there is educational value as well.

My point is, that there could be things that are useful to the masses. Non-Illegal uses.
