Think thats a good list and might of missed something however i didn't put COD or FEAR in because they get on my nerves and found them boring. You'll all have different views to mine so don't flame lol. Also i didn't put old game like Doom or Duke 3d because they just don't play well anymore or stand the test of time, never thought they were good anyways.

My choice for RB6 vegas was not because it was the most perfect single player or multiplayer BUT!!!! It was the first FPS ever for me to get all the basic gameplay mechanics correct and perfect while pushing forward for innovation in the genre.

Also i played STALKER and put it on the bottom of the list because i'm really enjoying it and very atmospheric, however theres alot of bugs so not sure if it's worthy yet.

DMM&M is up there because i saw it as the best game since 2004 for FPS genre and i didn't see how anyone would compare it to RPG's or Oblivion because unlocking weapons was done by BF and it doesn't make it a FPS. It's a melee/fantasy FPS.

This list isn't in any order and some multiplayer games i'm not THAT much of a fan of but needed to come up with atleast 10 lol. Again theres no BF there because i didn't really enjoy it and i think Joint Operations outshines it.

CS 1.6 because CSS has alot of gameplay problems where as CS 1.6 looks older but it's gameplay that counts>

RTCW for me was the first ever FPS to do the whole ****s and customise your stuff within them properly atleast. I don't remember anything this GOOD before it and it really got multiplayer and single player spot on.

I didn't put BF up there because i thought Joint Operations is ALOT better. The graphics suck and the maps look like patterns and the art is poor, basically everything says CRAP but somehow the gameplay is AMAZING and i put this down mainly to: 1. night and day cycles 2. Longggggggg times on each map 3. All vehicles are made for transport only which = teamplay and no owning people in a vehicle.

HL2 SDK = Mods for me lol best way to sum up things like Source Forts and Garrys mod etc etc.

Planetside is a mmoFPS but for me it was one of the most amazing multiplayer games in 2003 before it got ruined. Adding that you battled against GIANT ammounts of people which made it amazing.

The engine is pretty old these days but i think it gives Crysis a run for it's money, obviously when you look closely it looks very dated but at quick glance....

I was from Bria at first ebcause it was the beta server but as soon as Euro servers were released i moved over to Farstar :) Had to import the game because it wasn't released till Nov 2003 here.

Anyways the game had the msot amazing community until SOE/LA ruined it and it's a shame the game is where it is. Don't understand why it's soo ahrd to listen and give us what we want.


SOE and bioware have both said they havn't enjoyed working with LA (they said IP holder, but we all know what that means) because they're too controlling and it's just not a fun experience as they don't understand the online space/gaming communities like the developers do.

It's very weird though how SOE can released EQ which was a masterpeice that led upto all these games such as WOW. Also they released EQ2 and made the game soooo amazing in these past 2 years. Also experimented with a mmoFPS but stopped funding as it just doesn't have the subsciber base.

Yet SWG went horribly wrong and it's the only game they don't listen to their community. is this the work of LA?
