like most sports it starts when your young. I can't think of a single driver that got started later in life, and the same goes for most other sports, those guys have been in it since they could walk.

I'd say if you're still interested pick up racing as a hobby (normally a very expensive hobby) and you might get to the point where you can make a career out of it.

First of all, it helps that your family has money enough for you pursue such a career. You might start with midget cars and such. I don't know your circumstances, but chances are you will not make it. If you are young enough and have the honest capability of making that dream come true, start at the beginning. County fairs, small gigs, etc. Everyone has to start somewhere.NathanHawkins
