The reason why i say its the worst gen ever is gaming industry has been around along time and you think by now there could get it mostly right with odd problem every now and them. But no will still got dodgy consoles and half done games. Example "Two Worlds" What were they thinking?
I think N64 and Super Nintendo were the peak of Nintendo legacy and its been all down hill from there, which is really sad cos some of the Nintendo Games are really great!
Well the year is 2008 and we are well in the console race but none of then can seem to get it right. You'd think by now that MS, Sony and Nintendo could get it right! But all i see is a big mess, here's where the console stand: Xbox 360: Despite Microsoft's attempt to remedy the Xbox 360s failure rate the RROD still continues to plague the console at a devestaing rate. On the flip side the 360 has a great game library and by far the best online gaming service but it all so has a lot of poor quality games, i do not understand how MS, Sony and Nintendo let bad games grace there consoles? There should be a standard of quality that needs to met before a game can be released on a console. If games like Gears of War, MGS 4 and Super Smash Brothers Brawl can be a achieved them all developers have no excuse to produce on consoles that are capable of handling the goods. PS: I been RROD Twice and now on my third 360 but I still love it. PS3: The power house of the 3 consoles battling it out for supremacy or as i like to call it the "jack of all trades" is the future of the gaming industry and i predict this console will rain supreme over the home cinema industry as well in a few years. But one thing it lacks is games, the PS3 has a very low attach rate of about 5-6 games per console sold, about the same as the Wii. While 360 is about 8-9 per console. I believe this is because of the lack of games on the PS3, price and the fact that some people are buying the PS3 because its the cheapest Blu Ray player on the market and have no intention of buying games. Then theres its online service which is FREE but needs alot of work and is no where near on par with Xbox LIve, hopefully a few more years and home will change that thou. I think end 2008 - 2009 is going to big for Sony and thats about the time i will pick one up! Wii: The Wii is selling consoles like hot cakes but i see disaster on the horizon. The Wii reminds me of the foot messages that every one buys at christmas time but the recipient never uses it and ultimently become one of those items that sit in a cupboard space collecting dust. With the lack of any 3rd party games how long do they think they can keep recycling mario, zelda, etc? Then theres the fact that the Nintendo decide to keep there console in the dark ages, which mean most developers who decide to go multi platform wont even bother down grading the graphics just so it can run on the Wii meaning the miss out on alot 3rd party games. it can not play DVDs and i don't think it can play CDs but not sure on that one? Despite all that the Wii has some great 1st party games and with the ability to download some old Nintendo classics and play them on the Wii is cool too. Oh and last of all is the motion control which is cool and i think the Wii's biggest selling point. I plan to get a Wii just for a few of the 1st party games and the classics but thats it, i think Wii is gone fall one day and fall hard I like gaming but the industry as a whole needs to clean up the act from the Developers to the Consoles and everything in between theres to much games that are not finished and a riddle with bugs and other problems, consoles that break down or they take away stuff like the whole BC on PS3 newer models! What were they thinking! Feel free to add or comment
Will any one buy the cousin of Gears Of War, i mean Unreal Tournament 3 because im pumped for this game? Thou I hear alot of 360 owners care very little for this game for some reason :?

i think its the other way around, gears is the cousin of unreal. they were even going to call it unreal-tatics before they changed they mind to call it gears of war. unreals been around far much longer than gears. ill be getting unreal like deffos

Any one still play shadowrun since the developer is no longer operating, meaning no new content. Because i have seen the game very cheap and was thinking of picking it up. Plus i played the demo alot when it first came out and it was a blast :)
Just wondering because i have alot of games i have not played yet like GRAW but i also got GRAW 2 and i wanna get my $100 Australian out of both of them. I also have Gow and R6V but have played them old my old gamer tag
1.) GRENADE SPAMMING: At the start of every COD 4 game i play you have to run for cover from the inevitable volley of grenades and then spend the rest of the game dodging random grenades:x
2.) Martyrdom: You kill some one only to walk over there body and be blown away by that grenades he managed to pull why being loaded with bullets or even worse your playing hardcore and your team mate has it and he dies and you just happen to be close by and get wasted too:x
3.) Grenade Launcher: These ones are most common used at the volley at the start and are deadly accurate in the right hands at short or long distance....like from one side of the map to other! Also easy way to rake up kills:x
