Comparing this to the PC gamer review, I don't think I've seen two more starkly different viewpoints on the same game.

@AuronAXE Maybe in quality of games, but they're still not selling consoles which is unfortunately all that matters.

People are gonna bitch and moan about this game all day but the fact is that Day Z is still a game with horrendous production values and a hell of a lot wrong with it. Competitors at this point when the genre has been nowhere near perfected are welcome, especially those of SOE's calibre that may bring some money to a genre currently populated by a collection of buggy messes (albeit buggy messes with massive potential).

@deadpen @megatronx2 A good gaming PC can boot from off to desktop in less than ten seconds, especially with the rise of solid state drives.

That's an incredibly misleading title gamespot, there are no real features as such that PC is missing out on, simply interface changes to make the game more suited to console, which is obviously going to happen due to the differences in controls.

The problem with that level of VR which may or may not happen is that it will almost certainly be banned, as people would simply lose their life to it and violence within it would simply be too immersive.
