Well this was inevitable, the first game was just too niche for the budget it cost and to be honest as a business venture you can't blame them for wanting to expand the audience even if it does mean sacrificing some of the things which made the first one so great. This was the only way we were ever going to get a sequel, beggars can't be choosers.
I'm pretty much exclusively a PC gamer these days...and yet I don't feel the need to insult the ps4 in the slightest. The main thing that holds the PC back these days is the fact that a lot of our games are ported from consoles and therefore scaled down, however with more powerful consoles the ports will be far better, seems like a win-win situation to me... Also I don't see why people get so annoyed about all this stuff, yes you can do a lot more with a PC and there are many many fantastic games and even genres that are almost exclusive to us, however my PC cost me £1500, which most people simply can't afford and that's fair enough, for those people there are consoles which serve as perfectly adequate and enjoyable ways to enjoy games on a budget.
I think part of the problem is due to the names of these games, people hear them and the sound like more of an expansion pack or a spinoff than a true sequel, it's a similar problem to the Wii U.
Fine, do as much research as you want, we have nothing to fear as there simply is no link. The problem lies in that in a society where guns are as common as baseball bats incidents that would normally end with simple injury are often fatal.
