This explains them going with EA as publisher for Overstrike, err Fuse, they're a perfect couple. Anyway if this means more crap like RaC All 4 One then consider me done. In a perfect world it would mean more greatness like RaC Up Your Arsenal. If only the world was perfect...
So it's charged at a overpriced 20$ and yet it's missing the content from the previous console ports of the same game, and they didn't even add the other forms of bells and whistle that they added to 3rd Strike OE when it was 5$ less? Yep that's typical 2012 quality Capcom game alright.
For 150$ the SFxT and SSFIV DLC shouldn't just be DLC vouches, those 2 games should be proper complete editions (besides the DLC is already on the disk anyway you lazy asses). Same for SFIII3SOE and SSFIITHDR being DLC voucchers, should be on a disk. Takes anything that would make this collection somewhat meaningful for anyone that may already have these games. Only thing I kind of want is the soundtrack, and maybe the Juri anime movie (just because I like her), but for 150$? HELL NO!
Hey look Capcom blaming everyone and everything but themself again for there own failures. What else is new? I guess we should ignore the DLC issue, especially the disk locked characters, and the fact your fighting games are missing the most basic features those other fighting games offer (why in the hell is colors for customization free disk locked DLC?) and stripped out content to be DLC, that you can get in other 3D graphics fighters for free as unlockables (alt costumes for example). On top of that you have the games lack of polishing, poor balancing, flawed online, and gimmicky mechanics effectively making the game less fun to (all the DLC gems made the game even worse). Make proper games that aren't half-assed unlike your competitors games that can exist in a competitive environment again Capcom before you start whining about sells. Pathetic company now days, just pathetic.
So they're still going to release unpolished half-assed incomplete games that offers less content than what there competitors offer, while still selling content you get in there competitors games for free as DLC, but they're now going to hide that they're ripping off there customers better? What a huge improvement, Capcom totally aren't missing the point, no not at all.
Vanquish could have benefited from maybe a co-op mode and more unlockables, instead of only having the somewhat frustrating unlockable Tactical Missions. Vs. multiplayer probably wouldn't have worked well because of the games booster, it would be hell trying to hit someone, and removing it would make Vanquish no longer Vanquish. Saying Shadows of the Damned needed multiplayer is just asinine. That game needed a new game plus and some unlockables. Multiplayer would be awful with it's gameplay, maybe a bit better than RE5's terrible DLC versus mode, but not by much.
