@kade1001 @TheGamerPhenom @GOGOHeadray @jinzo9988 Exactly. I'll *play* multiplayer games. I don't want a game that is solely online. It's gameplay and story alone need to merit me playing it, not the draw of a "social interaction." Pokemon Facebook isn't attractive to me one bit.
@GOGOHeadray @TheGamerPhenom @jinzo9988 **** that. The moment they dare to start with the online crap (as in an MMO), I'll be done. Just my opinion, but Pokemon is still something that I would say needs to stick to the tried and true.
@jinzo9988 It's a handheld game. It's portability is what makes it so great. Not saying I wouldn't enjoy a deeper foray on a console (XD and Coliseum were great), but it's ultimately first and foremost a handheld game.
@kade1001 Very possible. Nintendo has always been hit or miss with consoles. What usually saves them, are the strong first party titles. I suspect we'll see a gamecube-esque situation with the Wii-U if I had to give my best guess; strong first party games that get vastly overlooked because of a weaker console. But only time will tell.
@spammehardo @Slim_Lyrics @TheGamerPhenom Maybe. I think it still has the same marketability. Time will tell. As mentioned above, I've argued on this point for way too long
@b74kd3th PS3 had hard numbers saying it would fail. We saw how that turned out. It may not turn out like that, but I'd say give it a bit more time before labeling it a complete failure.
