@dirtyjersey13 Same. I've loved my 360 ever since I got it, but I'm not an idiot. I see them trying to treat the consumers like crap, and just assuming we're going to sit here and take it. Sorry Microsoft, when the opposition is presenting me with a better product, and you are just telling me to stick to a current gen product, the opposition wins me over.
@lostn They would have to remove the Kinect, lessen the online restrictions, and promise me they aren't going to screw around with the used game market to even make me consider them again. And even then, consider the disregard they've had for me as a consumer, I would probably still not get it.
@jlsgamespot @pearljam8989 Coming from someone who used a 360 last gen, a PS2 the gen before that, and a 64 the gen before that, I'm simply looking for the best gaming experience for this gen. As far as I've seen to this point, the PS4 is the major front runner for me.
@Sgt_Tethras Between that, and treating their consumers like idiots, they are at a point where they need to do severe damage control if they want any hope of bringing back the ostracized gamers.
@jayjay444 @TheGamerPhenom I'm concerned, but far from worried yet. Devs aren't stupid (I think). They know that they risk losing all of their sales if they do something like that.
@jayjay444 The problem is, devs aren't courageous enough to pull something like that yet. They would almost assuredly be crushed by the loss of sales, even on the "One." They'd rather deal with used game sales, as opposed to having NO sales if I had to guess.
@garysingh34 While it still wouldn't get me to buy their console at launch, if they would admit they've screwed up with these ideas, and start making changes, I would consider it down the line. I would still go PS4 at launch, but I wouldn't be 100% against the console if they would simply start being honest, and admitting they've made some mistakes.
@cscarnell I feel you there. Game lineups are really going to be based on personal preference. I know for me, I was never a fan of Halo or Dead Rising, so to see those as really the two "Big" exclusives at launch (TitanFall, if I really want it, will be on PC) was just another disappointment for me.
@psicho1986 They just believe that the consumer won't care. The problem for them is, their top competitor is giving the consumers precisely what they want. They continue to be this arrogant, and this ignorant to the consumers, and they will feel the pain at release.
