@randomsniper052 That is a vast over assumption. Everyone does not have internet, and in particular, everyone does not have internet that can support a system like this. As the example I used down below: I'm at college. In my college, any electronic device that is broadcasting a signal like this (so any kind of wifi gaming device), is strictly prohibited, because it will interfere with other people's wifi. So basically, what Microsoft has told me with this console, is that I'm not allowed to use it at college, because I won't be able to readily connect to the internet. And that is utter BS IMO.

@QuadThumbs Yep. And if your internet isn't strong enough, or has a limit on how much it can run, you are a liable to run into problems. And as an example, for me, we are liable to not be able to use something like this at college, because, if in ANY way it broadcasts it's own signal, it will interfere with our college's wifi for everyone. So basically, I'm not allowed to play at all if I'm at school. It's perhaps the biggest issue with the "One," and probably the main reason I won't get it. It's not accessible for me, and therefore not worth burning the $500+ dollars on.

@Spurgin Read my comment right below. The lineup isn't the big problem. It was just Microsoft's chance to try and do damage control on all the other negative publicity. It's the always on, always connected to the internet, always using kinect, crummy used game policies, and lack of focus on gaming that does in many of even the hardcore Microsoft fan. One or two of these things would be bad. All of them combined, makes it look terrible.

@danabo Pretty much the same for me. MAYBE, if there wasn't so much murkiness around used gaming for Microsoft, and no required Kinect, and if they allowed me to game offline, I'd be willing to go to Microsoft (because hearing that games like KH3, in particular, will be cross platform is a very nice thing indeed), but then you add in the $500 price tag, the seeming over focus on TV and Sports, it's just not a package I personally want.

@Guts5 @TheGamerPhenom @Redpool @xgraderx I just personally don't see it. Agree to disagree here. I think your message is going to fall on deaf ears here, particularly in your delivery. After talking to you for a bit, I find myself much more willing to look at things from your view, and even find myself agreeing in some ways. But if you come on here, all fire and brimstone about how horrible everything is, I know I do one of two things in response. I either completely ignore them, or I want to argue back. Most people on here will be the same way. Come on over the top, and I'm more inclined to ignore your arguments, and get angry at you, as opposed to trying to see things from your perspective.

So I'll end with this, because I'm tired of typing, and need to finish up my work for the day, haha. I agree with you, in principle. It's wrong for any media to falsely report, and to do so under the guise of telling the truth. But, there are better ways, and places, to vent your frustrations on these subjects. I'll leave it at that. I apologize for overreacting to you at first, but next time, come on a little bit less over the top, and people like myself are going to be more than willing to have an intelligent conversation about things on here, in my personal experience.

@Anamon @TheGamerPhenom @Guts5 I agree. My opinion is, games like OOT, FF7, and so many others found the base formulas for how to make successful games a long, long time ago. As a general rule, it's when games tend to stray too far away from these base formats, that I tend not to enjoy them. But I am boring that way, haha. And while that isn't to say I won't enjoy innovation when done properly (Assassin's Creed when it started, for instance), the hit/miss ratio on "innovation tends to lean heavily in the favor of miss. So generally, I just look for games I like, and features I want, and go that way.

@Guts5 @Redpool @xgraderx As mentioned below, then take your issues to the people who actually care, like the writers and editors. Because the posters in these boards, are much, much more keen to actually, you know, discuss games, and entertainment, as opposed to arguing over whether or not an article has one statement in it that is incorrect. I don't particularly care, because their job is simply to spark interest.

Judging by the nearly 2000 comments, and the fact that you've been on this board for almost thirty minutes, he's pulled off his job successfully. That's just how media, regardless of whether it is the internet, newspaper, or on the tv, tends to work. They are going to put out whatever generates interest. The One, and it's problems is a hot topic right now, so you write something that sparks debate on both sides. Tada, you have a popular article, regardless of the truth behind it.

In the future, if you have an issue with something, instead of pissing off everyone in the comment section, sparking endless arguments over things most on here don't care about, take it to the people who can do something about it, and stick to things that aren't so serious on here.

@Guts5 @TheGamerPhenom @Anamon I didn't feel he was too out of line. Two games does not innovation make, particularly when those supposed innovative games aren't out yet. For the record, I couldn't give two shits about whether or not I get "innovative;" if a game franchise is good already, I'm not too keen on them messing with things. But if you are suggesting that a console, or even a game lineup, can be considered innovative because two games MIGHT end up being unique in that regards, we'll just have to agree to disagree. I see nothing wrong with what the poster of this article wrote. I've seen my fair share of both console lineups, and innovation is pretty close to the bottom of the list for both. Is it better on the One? Debatable, depending on what you are looking for.

My only point in even responding is to simply say you got overly worked up about a very minor thing. If you had felt that there was something factually untrue in the article, would it not have been wiser, and more productive, to send a private message to the writer/editor, asking them about this, as opposed to raging on the comments boards for thirty minutes? Just my two cents, for whatever little it's worth.

@Guts5 @TheGamerPhenom @Anamon So you were just getting angry to be angry? Hey, it's your life, but if you are getting that worked up over a tag line in a gaming article, you might want to talk to someone. Because if you are going to let the *opinions* of gamespot writers work you up this much, I'd hate to see how you interact with people in real life.

@Guts5 @Redpool @xgraderx So you are raging, simply for the sake of raging? It's an opinion. Get the **** over yourself. He has his opinion, you have yours. You act like this article is evil incarnate.
