@joce667 @TheGamerPhenom And while I'm thinking about it, no I personally don't have major internet issues right now. But I have in the past. And there are many times where I go on trips, and don't have the capability of connecting to the internet. I suppose if me and some buds take a weekend trip, and want to chill and play some Xbox, we are also SOL. There is no logic to why Microsoft has done this. Good luck convincing me otherwise.
@joce667 @TheGamerPhenom Funny how I'm at work right now dumbass. I suppose you are of the opinion that the very large number of active duty soldiers not in the states are just SOL, huh?
@ccgod According to Microsoft, if you don't have internet, you don't deserve to play their games. Kinda like how you are "backwards" if you enjoy playing older games. Just more marketing fails by Microsoft. I feel really bad for whoever the marketing director is for this console, because if sales suffer as I expect them to, he's liable to get the ax, big time.
@jameston80 @ccgod @MagneticFusion Not really. Whether you like it or not, the reality is that Nintendo will start doing just fine again if they can release some half decent games. I don't own a Wii-U, but I do own a 3DS. I got the 3DS after hearing about all of the great titles coming to it over this year. And I'm far from the only one who did it. There's a reason the handheld sales for Nintendo are once again rebounding. The same thing will happen once they apply the same kind of games to the Wii-U. Once I see announcements about 5 or so good games I want on the console, I'll probably go get it, as will a lot of people. Just a matter of making people have a reason to do so.
@Pirate700 @TheGamerPhenom Hey, as I said, I don't like any of the options, I'll give a big middle finger to all the gaming companies, wait and see if any turn out ok, or just not get anything from this upcoming gen. Hell, right now, my 3DS is looking like the best option, and that is rather pathetic.
@rasterror @TheGamerPhenom @Pirate700 Microsoft made a deal with EA! The biggest cheapskate company out there! They control what gets published.. They decide what they can or can't push on their consoles. So yeah, it starts with them.
