@kungfuj0 i think the system wasn't that bad but they tried to change everything at once and this is not how the world works, they should've tested the new system with digital downloads and after it is established and people understand it, maybe some tweaking in its rules too. After that they either stop retail or make it part of the system depending on the state of the market at that time.
@DrizztDark looks like Travis Day is going to do the impossible and redeem the game with stuff like loot 2.0, paragon 2.0 and retiring the Auction house, i think he is on the right track :)
@A_Rabid_Dog the TPM is there whatever the OS cause it checks whether the OS is tampered with or not and it is not just windows, even chromeOS (a linux based os) uses the TPM chip also in both ChromeOS and Windows you can turn of secure boot off so the german noobs working there should keep making great cars and forget about software :)
@captainzornan duh what do you expect, sell few consoles and lose market share and then close and leave??! i don't blame MS for switching back to the old (inefficient) system, i blame the gang of whiners that acted as if MS is trying to kill their family although they were just trying a new Model (that might have worked better IMO)
@COPMAN221ISBACK actually i am mad, thanks to the whiners we will never even see how that system works , we never gave it a chance to prove itself and now MS was forced to throw everything they worked on just to please the whiners. i hope they are going to buy an X1 now (i know they are not)
if i were Xbox CEO, i would've dropped only the 24DRM or made it optional either 24DRM or insert the Disk
i think that is a cool idea and the co-op aspect of it is nice
ps: don't fool yourselves you would be saying that is nice if it came from sony but since it is the "evil" x1 we must hate everything about it whatever they say :/ .
please direct your hate at the real issue which is the 24hour DRM not co-op timed challenges 0.o
