ok so i see alot of top 5, top 10 blogs so i decided to write mine to share my opinions. today is about anime, so the list is my top 10 animes.



actually i wanted to write a dark blog, really dark, but i just cant write it and i have so many things in my mind so it would be veeeery long blog post that noone could even finish it. i even thought of giving gifts to anyone who honestly read the entire blog.



anyway lets get back to our subject, anime. I like animes/mangas alot, i mean alot and PROBABLY ( notice this please ) spent more time than you did. i wont write many things about animes instead i'll give wiki links for information because if i start to write, i should think alot so its waste of time for me now. well, choosing a top10 from more than 50 animes is really hard, especially if almost all of them are good...mangas helped me to choose too btw. anyway lets start;



#10 - Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. ( damn I left so many great animes to choose this...)



Why do I like it ? Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust ( 2000 ) is the second movie after Vampire Hunter D ( 1985 ). Its art amazingly surpasses the first movie and everything in Bloodlust is better than the first movie. The drawings of the movie is still one of the best, second to Kenshin.

#9 - Monster



Why do i like it ? Monster is like the famous "the Fugitive", a doctor in runaway, but actually its totally different. I like its crime based mystique s.tyle, its story is really well developed and wise. Its opening is one of the best, I almost watched it everytime while I always skip openings ( the most of openings in animes are annoying imo). Its 74 episodes.


#8 - DeathNote



Why do I like it ? Death Note is again detective s.tyle anime and its really wise again. The story is around wise people which makes their challenge so good and enjoyable. But in my opinion, L is annoying character even he is wise.( no offense rosesforever89, i know how much you like him i dont say it to anny you. )


#7 - Hajime No Ippo ( Fighting Spirit )



Why do I like it ? Ippo is real sissy before he meets boxing and becomes the best. His story is really good told and fights against the other boxers are really good. Even its art is old s.tyle, its greatly used and has no quality drop like new animes, Naruto, Bleach. Even anime stops after Ippo becomes champion the manga continues with more interesting events.


#6 - School Rumble



Why do I like it ? School Rumble is one of the funniest animes ever. I laughed so much at this anime. The guy you see in the picture is Harima Kenji which is the real star of the show in my opinion. Die tomorrow, but watch this anime today. Its a MUST.


#5 - FullMetal Alchemist



Why do I like it ? FMA has good art and story but what i like the most is its story is based on real world. The conflicts, war in the anime was telling the events in the world at that time. And you can guess who is who. Japanese do this in many animes but FMA is the most serious one and the funniest. So it tells a serious story in a very good way. I like all characters in this anime, there isnt even one that i dislike. When I said this Gluttony comes to my mind but even he is good as side character.


#4 - Rurouni Kenshin Reminiscence



Why do I like it ? Rurouni Kenshin Reminiscence is 4 OVAs and even its made in 1999 its drawing is still the best and no equal. Its about Kenshin's past, Kenshin's childhood and how he became Hitokiri Battousai ( Battousai the Manslayer ( Battousai is a master of the art of sword-drawing killing s.tyle ) ). While Kenshin TV series is funny anime, Rurouni Kenshin Reminiscence is dead serious and it fits the story perfectly.


#3 - X



Why do I like it ? If i say why do i like X, it will be spoiler so i'll just give some other info. X is made by famous Clamp so its art is both unique and beautiful. There is no ugly character in any Clamp mangas ( or I still didnt see any yet, so inform me if there is a single ugly character in any clamp manga ), so all characters are beautifully designed and have story for themselves. In their last work Tsubasa: Chronicles ( maybe xxxHolic is the last one i dont know the order though ) they used their previous characters in different animes, so there were some X characters in it too. Anyway, X is bloody and full of battles about the world's future. The Dragons of Heaven who protect present time and will let humans to change their own world and the Dragons of Earth who embrace the eradication of mankind to bring about the planet's purification have both 6 members yet. And a person that will change the future by deciding which Dragon he will be, Kamui. The countdown music in the anime is really terrifying and i like it alot. X is very dark anime and its events are really interesting.


#2 - Berserk



Why do I like it ? A manga since 1990 about a warrior who refuses to die, Guts. The name is Guts or Gutts, but its not Gatsu or anything because since I watch alot of anime and read many mangas I can tell you Japanese give names related to English. As Guts means courage, determination, that is to show character's personality. Berserk's setting is like medieval europe, disgusting, filthy, bad. Perfect place for our story. Guts' story starts randomly at first but soon with a flashback, Guts' story is told from the beginning, with his birth. Guts is the most developed character ever, it starts with his birth, how he was raised, his growing, etc. The anime tells us everything about Guts and how he lives now. The story is so captivating ( that I couldnt stop reading the manga and almost read it in instance ( took me hours, (days if you include breaks) non-stop) but sadly the anime is only 25 and its end is really really annoying. I called my friend and yelled at him on phone "WTF is this anime ?? It ends like this ??" and he suggested the manga. So I continued to story with manga which is still amazing. Its story is deep, its bloody violent and has a character who has no equal in any anime/manga, game, movie, book.


#1 - Trigun



Why do I like it ? So here is the numero uno, Trigun. Trigun is really funny anime with the best hero ever, Vash the Stampede. Vash is a kind, caring man, but he is The $$60,000,000,000 (sixty billion double dollar) Man called Humanoid Typhoon due to the destruction he caused. So you can ask how but you should watch the anime for it. He has super agility and eye-sight so its like he has ability to dodge bullets at close range but the truth is, Vash is not a human so its just natural for him and he is 131 years old but he is like about 20-30. Vash is my personal favorite character because he is like an angel and funny.



Ok i hope you enjoyed it but I need a recommendation now. From this point there are spoilers about Castlevanina: Lament of Innocence, X TV and my request has a relation to them so read it by knowing this fact.

I want to watch an anime or play a game that has a cruel, sad moment just like Castlevania LoI or X TV. In Castlevania, you play as Leon Belmont to save your fiancee Sara and in the middle of the game an event happens that left me in awe. Sara is bitten by Walter, the vampire master ( not Dracula, Castlevania: LoI is the first in chronogical order in the series ) and to be able to save Sara from this you need to beat Walter in a short time. However to be able to defeat Walter you need a weapon called Vampire Killer and it can be made by fusing a maiden and the whip of alchemy. So which will it be ? You guessed right, Sara sacrifices herself to stop Walter. Leon comes only to save Sara but in the end, he sacrifices his love...

Another one is X TV. In this anime there are many deaths. After Kamui decides to choose "I just want to protect Fuma and Kotori ( they are siblings and the best friends of Kamui ), I dont care Dragon of Earth nor Dragon of Heaven" he actually chooses the present time over future so he becomes Dragon of Heaven and his twin star Fuma becomes the second Kamui as Dragon of Earth. At the same episode, Fuma kills Kotori, his own sister, after he becomes the second Kamui in front of Kamui ( real one ). Kamui cant get over it for a long time in the anime etc. So its another amazing sacrifice but the better part, Kamui sacrifices himself in the end. So everyone dies in this anime lol.

I just want this kind of deep story with sacrifices. Any recommendation is welcomed BUT do NOT explain anything. Just give me the name of the game/anime/movie and tell me how is it, I mean gameplay for a game, theme/s.tyle ( funny, dark etc. ) for anime or movie. Thanks in advance.

ok so this blog became a congrats blog lol. i cant think anything to write now...

lets praise Stree Fighter Alpha 3 Max while we are talking. Its damn addictive... I beat Sagat long ago ( İ mentioned that in my previous blog ) and beat the game, but it was hard. There are many modes to play but World Tour is really amazing among them. You can level up your character and then you can use this leveled character in other modes which is great. But one thing I noticed is your character gets stat points randomly I think. Even I tried to beat all enemies with "Perfect" later i noticed i couldnt max all stats. There are different routes in World map so you can get different ISM Pluses ( power up ? ) in different paths but you can get only one in an area. So you should select your path before you enter battles. I didnt know this at first with my first character but thanks to gamespot I realized I cant get all ISM+ so I wanted to make perfect character. But while my first character's all stats except attack maxed, my second character with all Perfect Victories ( until lvl32 ( max lvl ), there is no exp after lvl32 so I didnt beat Gokuentou with perfect, i tried it like 100 times ) and great ISM+ power ups couldnt reach max stats, so my first character is still my favorite, Ken Masters ( though my second try was again Ken, my favorite fighting character since I watched Street Fighter II V ( not 5, its letter V ) anime 5 years ago ). then I tried Evil Ryu and I couldnt reach max stats again and different stats again. So even I get Perfect Victories, I get different stat points, I couldnt figure it out how I can get max stats. Anyway, its really addictive game and its great. I've played it more than any Tekken game because generally i'm done after i unlock all characters in tekken or other games like that. Or I get bored at start if a fighting game is slow, like new MK games. So far Naruto Ultimate Hero 3 is the fastest fighting game I've ever played and its really fun. I'll try Bleach Blade Battlers 2nd too I hope.

also, I'm playing the recommendations that were given by gamespotters here in my topic. So far I've played Beyond Good & Evil, Castlevania Curse of Darkness, Gauntlet Seven Sorrows.

Beyond Good & Evil would be better with different visuals because I find it look like a platformer game but it has more things to do, so its like I want simplicity of platformers but i see depth and it turns me off. but its a good game nevertheless, I'll start it again.

Curse of Darkness is great game imo. I'm just sad I didnt get it because of GS review. Yes It has monotonous level design and enemy design but its battle system is really deep and enjoyable. Knuckle is my favorite weapon because its fast and cool, also its air combo is the best. The game is long, thats the reason it becomes monotonous. How ? The structure is similar in all areas even the textures are different. And enemies are distinguished by levels, so their appearences are the same. Lvl 9 skeleton and lvl 26 skeleton exactly look same. It seems Konami was lazier than Square that gives different color and names to different level enemies. Castlevania series always had great musics so CoD is no exception also its graphics are great too. LoI's graphics were like amateur rendering though they were clean and sharp enough, but CoD is really different and good. I'll beat this game soon I hope but I still find new things even I played 13+ hours.

Gauntlet Seven Sorrows is hack&slash with leveling, just like Lord of the Rings games which I find good. However, GSS starts with only 2-hit main attack, 2-hit block smash attack, 1 throw attack, 1 projectile attack ( X, square, triangle, circle ), one powerful attack which uses alot of mana and one special attack which uses a little mana, and these attacks cant be tied in a combo, so i think its beginning is boring with few attacks and I couldnt see many attacks to open with stat points, just a few again. But the game's graphics are good, the environment amazed me. I mean it was like Mummy-GoW settings with LotR style graphics. I really liked it. at the beginning, you are in a place like pyramids and everything is falling apart. i liked the settings, so the game, but I couldnt play it much yet. I heard its short like, 4 hours which is good point for me, so I'm planning to beat it fast when I start it, in 2 days I hope.

So it turned out a gaming blog but i'm not satisfied...

I see some people are trying to get driving license. that reminds me how boring driving is even though I drive almost everyday...Its abit better with music, my favorite while driving is SotC OST so far. but still its pain...

so lets talk about abit music too ? well, I like game musics alot. I see many people here like them too. for me Chrono Cross OST is the best I've ever listened to. I've listened to alot of game musics, Square's musics are really great, and not just Final Fantasy games. Personally I dont like midi quality sound, so FF7, Chrono Trigger musics are not good no matter how nostalgic they are. Since 1998 games use mp3, so we can listen to good quality musics. Squaresoft games after 1998 had really great musics. Chrono Cross, Xenogears, FF8, FF9, Vagrant Story etc. Square had great composers but sadly people only know Nobuo Uematsu, FF composer. Chrono Cross, Xenogears had Yasunori Mitsuda as composer and CC is still the best among many games I've played. He is also in Shadow Hearts game musics too with Yoshitaka Hiroka ( ICARO and Alice are my favorites from SH OST ). Mitsuda's works are abit romantic/sad themed but excellent. However, the real genius in my opinion is Hitoshi Sakimoto ( Vagrant Story,Final Fantasy XII, Grim Grimoire, Odin Sphere ). His works never bore me and always peaceful...ah Vagrant Story, it was perfect game.

One more composer I want to talk about is Kõ Otani, Shadow of the Colossus' composer. before SotC, i didnt listen to his works in any game nor anime actually I dont think they can be as good as SotC OST. Because the game is magnificent and the musics are just fitting in this amazing game. each colossus has different aura so the music. SotC is definitely one of the best games I've ever played, its just so unique and it gives amazing feeling, just like the old games that had atmosphere instead of graphics...

graphics...damn pc requirements for those graphics. I saw Assassin's Creed is on PC but my computer is not good enough to play it. I dont care to play it on minimum requirements but they dont even let me do that. But boring games like Oblivion doesnt care, though i run it very good just without long distance look but the game is boring... its better than Morrowind but still...bleh...well i know elder scrolls series is fps rpg ( i know it since the second, daggerfall ) but in my opinion fps rpgs are boring if they continue to become like this...i dont know its not appealing to me, it was fun until escaped the dungeon but then puff. maybe i didnt like fps fighting with swords since you see nothing...i dont say it was bad game but i didnt see as appealing and worse, boring...

ah...so it came to gaming again. well anyway, you can discuss about what you get from this blog...

huuuooooo !!! RAGE!!! why ? who knows... I didnt even watch any anime lately lol. oh but I played SF Alpha 3 on PSP and got beaten alot by Sagat. its really hard to use D-Pad for games like SF that requires down,down-right, right + punch combination, my thumb is hurt because of Sagat. Tekken is the best for this.

anyway, showdown is not about Street Fighter here, its about Windows Vista Vs Linux ( Ubuntu distribution ). For people who have no idea what is Linux, Linux is another Operating System that helps humans to communicate with computer. Linux is free and open source, its written just because windows is useless and not secure and unix is alone needs many easiness and modifications. So Linus Torvalds sit and start to build its own OS based on Unix. Since its open source, anyone can see its codes and help to improve it. So with years passing Linux becomes better and better. There appeared many distributions of Linux because people wanted to use it differently, modified and released on the net. Ubuntu for example is written because the coder thought Windows is useless but Linux is hard for everyone and I should write my own distribution, so Ubuntu is born. Its based on Debian Linux so its abit different than RedHat, Mandriva, Slackware etc. Actually all of them have different things but mostly they are the same while Ubuntu is different in those things too, but again they are the same in kernel which is Linux. Linux needs some knowledge to use it fully, unlike WinXP, but some distributions are very easy to use, for example; Ubuntu, Mandriva etc. Ubuntu has a great package manager, maybe not the best but it allows you to choose what to install and when you are done, it finds and installs. I wanted to install a different instant messenger program ? I open Synaptic Package Manager and choose what to install and here it goes, everything is automatically installed in seconds/ minutes depending on package size and your connection speed. I can install free Linux games etc.

Oh did I mention games ? It seems so... Why games are not released on Linux ? thats obvious, just because of its License and bound to be open source. Game companies want money, game prices show it too. Also m$ pays companies to hold them. And m$ lets piracy to control all people who cant afford original copies. Why ? To not lose money! How ? Oh come on! By giving cheap Windows so they wont need Linux! M$ only forces companies to buy legit copies, they only trace companies to sell big in one time and for advertisement. So M$ both lets piracy to be used to not lose people to other OSes and doesnt let piracy work for companies. But still, in server based works, Windows is the least chosen OS thanks to its insecure, slow, hard to edit architecture. Unix based OSes however, especially Linux is so much more flexible and FREE with everything. Oh and Ubuntu's installation is only 6 steps and you are done, so much shorter than WinXP.

Another knowledge paragraph is about Linux's XGL. Linux's desktop is named "X". You can install a linux distribution without X so you'll use it via commands. XGL project was started by Novell, another Linux distro, in 2004 and released on 2,Jan,2006 ( Vista is released on 30,Jan,2007), I want to point this, and improved more and more later because its open source. XGL program is run by Compiz or Beryl window managers. Beryl is more popular right now.

Then Windows Vista appeared with great visuals, compared to previous Windows versions of course. I used Windows Vista on a very good computer but it was so slow. With almost same hardware on a laptop,Linux is so fast and smooth with XGL effects. Vista has really nice look I admit, but its definitely the worst OS ever. period.

Ok, after boring part ended its showtime now. I want to point that those videos are 2006 year posts, so this concludes our showdown; Linux beats Windows Vista.

After PS3's release one year passed and PS3 is still not a console that lives up to PS2 legend. What are the reasons for this outcome, at least for now ?

The game industry goes for multiplatform and this makes all consoles same, so whichever is cheap, early released gets customers but with this, exclusive games start to be made for leader console in the market again. PS2 had so many GOOD exclusive games at its time but now PS3 has few exclusives and mostly they are not so good while multiplatform and rival exclusive games are good enough to beat PS3. So can we say PS3 needs GOOD exclusive games to be rival for other consoles ?

Well, this is a fact that shines like sun but the problem is " will those good exclusive games save PS3 ?" like MGS4, GT5, Tekken 6, Final Fantasy XIII etc. In my opinion, I lost my hopes for PS3's success and even I will buy a PS3 for MGS4 like so many people out there, this wont be enough because the number of good games should not be around just few games.

If MGS4, FFXIII, Tekken 6, GT5 cant save PS3, what can save PS3 ? What does PS3 need to succeed ?

To be cheaper ? Maybe, but if PS3 games would be so good, people would still buy PS3 and with time PS3's price would drop anyway.

Exclusive games ? Companies choose multiplatform for their own profit and that is just natural so exclusive games are hard to find nowadays and distinctive good exclusive games are harder to find.

I just really wonder what will be happen after MGS4's and FFXIII's releases. Will they be enough ? Or maybe they will lead a way for successful games on PS3. Or just hopes ?

i know there are many idiots all over the world but i wouldnt imagine that i could see many of them in Off-Topics. Talking about sickening, immoral things, talking without knowing which is the most stupid thing...

what i hate the most is definitely an IDIOT. because you cant explain anything, they just cant understand. when you try, you go nuts because you see something unbelievable, their thinking level. simply, they dont think they just talk what they heard from others. they dont search the truth, because they dont want to see it. when they see reality they become speechless and start cursing, go berserk, whine, insult the person who talks about truth because the truth is something different than they think.

logic is a must. i hate illogical things. stupid people cant understand logic because their way of thinking doesnt include any logic. logic is hazardous for idiots.

i think i lost my temper but i just cant control myself when i see an idiot and his absolutely false, lie statement.simply, i hate it. i hate idiots. i hate off-topic forum thanks to idiots. i just cant believe it. insisting on a lie, false thing is really idiotic. and when they get support from another idiot, they become more idiot than ever and get ready to taunt.

i have to stick with normal gamers i think, at least they just give their opinions about games, they like or dislike or even hate games but they only give their opinions, they dont support a false idea without thinking.

Why people cannot decide for themselves ? Why people cannot present their ideas freely ?

There are many people who decides, says something under other people's ideas. They think they give their ideas but no because they contradict themselves in their next statement. When you ask the reason they can't say anything logical or simply they talk without even knowing because they heard like that.

The most people are cowards and they are lead by others. Even some of them has self confidence, they can change their ideas if majority says opposite. A simple example, a person wants to wear something green, but when his/her friends say " green clothes ? no way they are terrible", that person changes the clothes and wears something that is approved by others. He/She simple can't say " so what? i like it ". People who can say this decide the fashion. They wear what they want and when some other people say "wow its great", the people who have no personality starts to copy it. So these people follow this fashion because some famous,noble (!) people said its great. So streets start to crawl with copy people.

Copy ideas, following the crowd are funny things lead to fanatism. When someone stands and says bad things about something that majority loves, people just cannot accept it and point that person like he/she is guilty. Yes that person should use proper way to imply his/her thoughts but the thing makes him/her angry to use bad language is again those people who act like sheeps, following without thinking. Because when that person says something in proper way, he/she is ignored, but when he/she does it in bad way, he starts to be seen, those people react at last and some of them start to think.

Some people also try to rule over others, like they are always right. "XXXXXX end of discussion","XXXXX hands down" What is that hands down ? Your opinions are not absolute truth or anything, you only wrote your opinion and there may be people who think the same but that does not mean ALL PEOPLE in the world think the same way and actually we always see different responses. So in short can't we say they are wrong because at least one person denied his opinion and said something different. People should know what they are and respect others, their ideas. Unless you are leader of group and try to decide on something, you have no right to talk like "XXXXX hands down". Its simply annoying.

Also there are many people talk without knowing what they are talking about because they act with other's ideas, sayings. They give some ideas like they know something while they are not BUT like these people others who respond their statements know nothing too and they seem like they discuss something serious while they all talk nonsense in reality. One-sided, narrow minded ideas are big problem of people, but people really like this since old times. They live with it and cannot accept the truth until they die. When you look at them by knowing the truth, you see how pathetic they are and keep laughing at their level.

Living under other's ideas is funny, but the funnier thing is thinking your own ideas are absolute right.

so people hi to you all! i want to fill my blog lots of things but let me enter here first.

i'm a linux user at office but at home i'm a windows xp user because i want to play those windows games on my pc, though i find playing ps/ps2 games more fun. i play games for 16 years now ? so i'm called a game addict maybe. i think i enjoyed amiga era the most, but ofcourse i'm still enjoying gaming.

in games, i think gameplay is the most important thing, but with new era i want to lose myself in great stories. with Xenogears and Metal Gear Solid's stories they became my favorite games. even they say "everything in this game is fictional" in their deep stories actually they talk about reality, additional to their great gameplay, they have great storylines thus they are the best for me.

i games, what i dislike is copying something with nothing good. i played halo on pc and it was just copy of your old space movies with headsize crossover. i didnt like anything in that game, story was not good because it was just sum up of copies. weapons were few and not amazing. warthog was looking good until you drive, but at least the character was looking fit for warthog, an atv race driver in his green costume. and he was called" Master Chief" ?? i really cant believe how can they be uninspired for the main character. the same things apply for Splinter Cell, the worst stealth game ever. additionally it had terrible controls. if anyone wants a real stealth game, should play Thief.

anyway, lets finish this for our first blog post and lets add this line: " Sensible World of Soccer is the best soccer game" ( i know there are many gamers there say the same thing, at least my friends do )
