Greetings to all of you who decided to take a gander at my profile....I appreciate the interest very much. As you may know my name here is Lemiah. This is my name in many places. Though most seem to pronounce it wrong.....so just a little FYI...it is pronounced Lem-I-ah...a stong capital "I" sound instead of the lowercased as in "MY" instead of "ME".....
I know most of you probably don't see the importance of the proper pronunciation of a name but trust me it is like the diffence in the names Gabriel and Gabriel for males and females...LOL.
Lemiah isn't my real name, though, but there is a bit of background to the name...a little bit of a "oh-that-doesn't-seem-interesting" background, but it is a background nonetheless. For those of you who just happen to have the curiousity as to the background or as to my real name just ask me. I won't bite and I don't mind telling either, but I prefer not to stand up on a soap box and annouce it....I don't think any Tom, Jack, or Joe would do this either...LOL.
Though I portray myself around the computer alot to mislead some to think I am a guy, and this doesn't offend me in the least because I am "two-sided" with a little masculinity, but to burst some people's bubble I am in reality a girl.
I absolutely love anime (especially the genre comedy/romance), but unfortunately have only chipped at that iceburg compared to some...if only there was a way to watch all the anime in the world, but it seems after I finish one anime there is another one that comes out to the world. (sigh) I can't seem to catch up...
In my spare time, though, when I am not watching anime, I enjoy reading mangas, writing stories, drawing/painting/doodling, and posting on forums to state an opinion that most people really don't care about...lol.
My sign (though I don't believe horoscopes, I say this to those of you who might) is Aquarius and I was born in the month of Febuary....the day after Valentine's Day. I will not state in this post how old I am though again if anyone wants to know just ask. I am really not that old, though I may feel like it sometimes.
My favorite foods consist of chili dogs; instant rice topped with sugar, cinnamin, and milk; medium-rare steak; steak fries; clam chowder soup; and peanutbutter w/honey sandwiches....to name a few things.
My favorite drinks....pepsi and coke (not together but I don't favor one over the other), really chocolatey milk, very sweet tea (Lipton preferably in brand name), and RC. I will drink other things too, but these are just my favorites....for example every now any then I will drink a glass of tomato juice with a little salt mixed in...I know weird but my dad got me into that when I was little....and of course when all else fails to quench my thirst water is the best thing.
My favorite games include The Sims (any), Kingdom Hearts (1 and 2), and a few miscellanious games you find around on the internet such as Bejeweled, Chuzzels, Granny in Paradise, and Astropop to name a few....
I am an eclectic so I don't have any particular type of music I listen to permanently. I listen to pretty much everything, from oldies of the 50s, to emenim, to Rob Zombie, to Paula Abdule (think I spelled that right), to Billy Idol, to Classical music, to Casada, to DJ Sammy, to Backstreet Boys (yes even these guys), to ICP, to Disturbed, to Korn, to Aqua, to Styx, to Panic at the Disco, to White Stripes.................though I favor techno trance music the most I quite enjoy banging my head to harder music almost as much.....
My movies are few because I watch anime the most, but I would say amongst them (since I have no favorites not being able to choose) are Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Harry Potter (all), Blast from the Past, Dracula (with Keanu Reeves and Gary Oldman), Halloween (Rob Zombie version), Sweeney Todd, Pirates of the Caribean (all), Princess Diaries (both), Finding Nemo, Spiderman (all), Batman, x-men (all), Steal Magnolias, The Illusionist, The Prestige, Disney's Mulan, Disney's Road to El Dorado,....................I can name a few more but I think there is enough to give a good mix of genres to give you the basic idea.....
I have many books that I absolutely love enough to call a favorite like Harry Potter, Dear America's Diary of Margret Ann Brady (a titanic story and not a real diary), the Messanger, Gathering Blue, Brave New World, I could name a few...but if you asked me to pick just one book to put as my favorite I would have to say The Giver by Lois Lowery.....
Finishing here now that you have some basics of me I again would like to say, (if you made it this far) I appreciate that you came to my profile whether it was because of interest, curiousity, or even out of bordem......and if you have any questions about me or just want to talk, say hi, or anything that resides along those lines...Just ask....I will be happy to reply.....
