[QUOTE="kraken2109"][QUOTE="TheNagaMoris"]I'm in UK too, I was just interested since we have the same cpu, same voltage, same cooler but yours runs 10 degrees hotter than mine. Maybe my case makes a big difference. What case have you got? I might change my case later but I bought the NZXT Lexa S because it looks so cool. I forgot to add that I was using the thermal paste that came with the Cooler Master Hyper 212+. Maybe I should have used an after market thermal paste??Lol I got lucky with the CPU? Haha. Yay me. Nah I live in England and it's pretty cold here most of the time. Never gets too hot unless we're having a heatwave during the summer.

I was looking at that H60 cooler back when I made my PC but I couldn't afford it so just went with the most affordable one at the time. Will the H60 help bring down the temps to your kind of temperatures? What would you say is a safe max temp for the AMD X4 955??
Thank you. First time overclocking so I guess it went well for me, lol. If there's anything I can change please let me know. Still reading up on overclocking.
Hi guys. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to overclocking but I think I managed to get my CPU running at 4.0Ghz stable. I've ran IntelBurn stress test a few times and seems stable so far. Does this look okay or do I need to change anything? Oh I forgot to add at idle temps are at 37 degrees and at full load temps are at 57 degrees. I'm using a Cooler Master Hyper 212+ in a NZXT Lexa S case with push/pull config.
Is Core Temp accurate?? At full load it was at 52 degrees when doing the stress test with Prime95 and when I do the stress test with IntelBurn the full load temp is 54 degrees. Are there any other CPU temp monitors?
This is why I don't want to push the CPU for no reason. It's at 52 degrees on full load I don't want to get anywhere near 60 degrees let alone 70, lol. I know it says 62 degrees on their website but a lot of people say it shouldn't go over 60 degrees as I keep reading. Not sure why but I'm not going to push my luck. I'm fine with 3.6 ghz just a bit of a bonus for me with the speed bump since 3.2 ghz was already fast enough for everything I want to do.
