You do know a corrupted hard drive doesn't need to be sent in for repairs right? hell, just spend the $200 on a massive HDD. Also, your consumer rights cover you against such things happening, if your machine breaks through normal use take it to where you bought it and they have to either fix it within reasonable time or replace it at their expense, hate to tell you, but that $200 you spent with Sony first time was just money thrown away.
That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard, the technology is moving forward so why hold games back, I'm not moaning that Mega Man 9 isn't coming to the NES am I.
Anyone else get one, I didn't even know the demo was coming out in the UK, I thought it was just for American Qore subscibers. Pretty sweet, the email says the demo gets rolled out world wide October 11th if that's news to anyone.
by selling their consoles that cheap, they infringe the law that states you can't sell a product at a loss and thus uses disloyal competition for the other console sellers ... next they'll get the right to kill?

Selling at a loss and controlling a monopolised market are 2 completely different things, you're quite confused. Go into a supermarket and no doubt the first thing you'll see is a bunch of product marked down to mere pounds (Harry Potter books etc.) They're called loss-leaders and a designed to draw you into spending more money, it's a common practice and you spouting off like you know business legislation is just embarrassing for you.
They could do a cool little 2D Spinoff/Tie in game with an equivalent level of customisation. PSP can handle considerably complex physics (I.E. Loco Roco) and if the just settled on a different but equally endearing art style (hand drawn maybe?) I don't see why a LittleBigPlanet game shouldn't be done, it just won't be the same as the PS3 game
