Would this theory state the existance of an infinite amount of universes? Each holding a different event and or outcome? That's exactly it. Well then 'exactly the same' does not apply.[QUOTE="TheOddQuantum"][QUOTE="Maqda7"] No, parallel universes don't imply that the other universe is running exactly the same with just a different outcome for a particular situation. [QUOTE="TheOddQuantum"]I think those would be called 'parallel universes'. No, parallel universes don't imply that the other universe is running exactly the same with just a different outcome for a particular situation. Would this theory state the existance of an infinite amount of universes? Each holding a different event and or outcome?[QUOTE="Maqda7"]There is theory (forgot what it's called) which says that for every possible outcome to a certain situation, there is a universe for each outcome. For example, you nearly get ran over by a car. In another universe you do infact get run over by a car. It came up by some young student, it's quite interesting. What Dr. Kaku says is something a bit different. All I have to say is: Stuff like this is what makes me so anxious to study physics in college.Maqda7
Yeah, I appreciate guys like this trying to explain and popularise science to the layman but he is just a nonsensical windbag, although a highly intelligent one :Pbean-with-bacon
That seems to be a slight exaggeration :P

Saw this a while ago, while the concept and the project itself is intriguing that video is utterly without substance, "genesis in an ocean of nirvana?" I mean honestly, too much metaphor crap.bean-with-baconHe does tend to beat around the bush.
[QUOTE="TheOddQuantum"]She is awesome on Weeds. You are the first person I've talked to to agree with me on that.I find Zooey Deschanel extremely attractive albeit having a rather silly version of the name "Zoe".
