They also published Ninja Gaiden 2, which went to PS3.
They no longer have ownership of the franchise, EA owns the IP and can do whatever they please. If you want your proof to the GT forums and search for the thread "BioWare says PS3 is a powerful force" or some other garbage and I posted my links in there that prove that ME could come to PS3 if EA wanted.

And Zipper is developing Socom 4, Socom C was developed by a different team. 1) They shouldn't have given the Socom franchise to an unproven developer. At least when Microsoft let another company handle the Halo IP, they made sure they were proven developers (Ensemble) and while the game wasn't as great as it could have been (lets be serious, it was a dumbed down RTS for the console crowd) they still made sure they had developers. After Reach, they've also made sure Halo will be developed by people who know Halo. If I'm not mistaken, 343 Studios is composed of former Bungie employees. 2) Zipper is developing Socom 4 and that's cool. It's supposed to launch this year and is going to support both Move and DualShock/Sixaxis. They just released MAG in the beginning of the year and they have to release a game another game within the same year. What this tells me is either A) Zipper doesn't care enough about their games and would rather split their teams to release two games, instead of focusing their entire staff on making one game the best it could be or B) Sony no longer takes Socom serious (clearly evident since it's taken the backseat and are trying to replace it with newer IPs such as Resistance/Uncharted and put a ton of money into Killzone 2 and letting an unproven developer take the reigns to one of your top franchises) Neither one of those are good.

I see people mentioning Socom 4. If that garbage gets AAA I will quit gaming. Socom 3 got better reviews than 1 and 2, and 1 and 2 were far superior. If this garbage motion control shooter gets AAA it will prove that gaming is no longer for me and is instead, for soccer moms and toddlers.
