A recent news article I read on gamespot ( I think it was last week) sayd something about video games not having (enough) sex in them. So I made this poll to see what are the games in which you would like to experience a more ... senzual aproach.
'Cause let's face it: it sucks having to Alt+F4 out of a game everytime you have to beat the monkey.
(hope I haven't said anything that whould get me banned ... i mean sex shouldn't bea tabu in games that receive the M rating)
there are so many CS haters out there yet I have never seen one in real life (only on the internet)....so maybe it's not hate that they feel but some sort of jealousy as the players on the other team always seem to win. CS is in my opinion a masterpiece ... over the years better games apeared but that doesn't change the fact that CS will always be a game of legend ( i played for a little bit in the PGL so playing CS made me some money, maybe that's why i praise this game)
There are some games out there that I love and when I heard that everyone hates them I was in shock... later I found that even Gamespot gave them low ratings (no surprise there). So I ask you what games do you like (a lot), games that are truly under-rated from your perspective.
For me the games I loved (that people didn't love so much) are: Oni (the best action game EVER) , Nox (i didn't play diablo2 for 3 years because of this game), Sanitarium (one of the best Adventure games I have ever played) and Enclave (this game was just fun).
i had a nintendo when i was 5 but my parents bought a pc in '96 and i've been a pc only gamer since then ... and in these 11 years i think i have spent roughly one hour playing on consoles (saw a ps2 at one of my friends house and i gave it a try). I'm as exclusive as they get...in fact i haven't seen a xbox or xbos360 in my entire life (though i have seen the ps2, ps3 and the Wii in shops) But it's only normal since eastern Europe is dominated by PC gaming (once read a report saying that 98.5% of gamers in my country are pc gamers) so there u go
The thing is that dx10 was supposed to comewith the XP SP3, however MS decided to get even more money by forcing us to by Vista, so tehnically dx10 was designed (at least in the beginning) to work for the XP. Some third party companies might try to crack the code and make dx10 compatible with the xp but that is easier said then done ...there might however still be hope as MS is currently being sued by the European Union to make the code behindwindows public (the public must now what we are buying ... it's one ofthe human rights ) so if we are given the code behind the windows xp os the job of translating dx10 to xpmight be a lot easier ... so let's just hope for the best :P
I'm 20 and i started pc gaming in 1994 (the year Wolfenstein 3d came out... i was shocked by how realistic the game was... and felt bad for days after shooting a dog ingame). Hada console (it was a russian ripoff of one of the early nintendos) since 1992 so i've been into video gaming since i was 5 (Mario and Tanks FTW).
can't believe nobody mentioned the flashlight in doom3 (yes you could use it as a weapon)... pretty lame weapon as most weapons you use up close (crowbar in hl, the shiv in escape from butcher bay, the knife in cs, and ..your legs in FEAR) ussualy make for some very nice kills
