PSWii, or Wii60. You get the most bang for your buck imo.

[QUOTE="TheShoupGuy"][QUOTE="lowe0"]If you want something on 360, it's worth it to pick one up. My PS3 gathers dust for the most part, while my 360 is played almost daily.lowe0
That's kinda what I was looking for. I've been a die-hard Sony fan for a while now.. but PS3 games just aren't coming out quick enough (or good enough).. and I know there are a good deal of 360 games that are good.. I just don't want to buy one, then find out that it's gonna be another 6+ months before a good 360 game comes out... bleh.
While the next big 360 game is in September, there's a big enough back catalog to keep you busy the rest of the year.True, I've noticed that from a bit of poking around on the 360 pages.... then again, a bunch of the upcoming kick-ass PS3 games are supposed to be coming out in August/September as well... hmmm..

[QUOTE="TheShoupGuy"][QUOTE="CB4McGusto"]Wait you have roommates and no wii, OMGZOMGNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! How can you have without wiisports, I mean the wiisports is teh best game eva!!!!CB4McGusto
As blasphemous as it sounds... I wasn't really a big fan of the Wii. My brother-in-law has it, and I got to play various games on it for about week while I was in town... Wiisports was cool, fun multiplayer.. but I'm more of a graphics-oriented kinda guy, so I wasn't too inclined to buyone.. especially with the *different* control scheme, and ----- (uh oh.. flames coming?) ----- I was somewhat under the impression that Nintendo was headed down the crapper. I just wasn't seeing that many games that would warrant getting a Wii... :?
I was just j/k with you.Istrongly agree with what you said btw. After that massive disappointing $149 I spent on my GC I knew I wasn't going to ever make that mistake in buying a Nintendo product everagain. Hell, imo the wii seems worse than the GC I just don't understand what true gamers see in this so called next genconsole.
I basically stopped when the GC came out... I just couldn't really get into it. I think the Wii is a bit better.. especially with the downloads, plus with the new Zelda (that ISN'T cell-shaded).. but I think the new controller really restricts a lot of gaming possibilities that people know, love, and expect... I think if Nintendo kicks it in gear and goes more for the high-performance instead of "concentrating on games" alone, they'll do a lot better than they might expect. I'll just wait and see what their NEXT system is before I start thinking about going back to Nintendo.
I would wait for the 360 price drop as well as the new cooler running chipset slated to come out later this year. Hopefully, Microsoft will have the 360 hardware problem fixed by then.thinicer
Hmm, sounds good... maybe a big Christmas/holiday-price drop would help out..

Do you have money, do the games appeal to you, do you like the features, are you not worried about reliability? If you answered yes to all these questions, maybe it's a xbox for you. If you're happy with just your PS3, which is a good console, then don't buy one.osirisomeomi
Money -- yes (but it would be taking out of the future-PS3/PS2-games fund)... games -- pretty good I'd say... features -- uh.. what?.... reliability -- maybe I've been out of it for a little too long, but.. what reliability issues are there?
I'd say I answered yes to half.. and question-marks to the other half.
I've had my PS3 since January... but have had various roommates with Xbox 360s, so I never really felt the need to get one. As expected, I never really felt the need to play a 360, just as they never really felt the need to play a PS3. But there were those few occassions were we'd get together and play Call of Duty 3 on the 360... or Ultimate Alliance on the PS3... or Gears of War on the 360.. or Resistance on the PS3...
Now that we've moved our separate ways, I'm contemplating -- would it be worth it to get one? Opinions from owners of both systems will most likely be the most helpful.. :)
