So, this whole thing started a couple days ago. I cannot get any updates for any games such as Playstation Home, or Battlefield: Bad Company 2. whenever I try to update, the screen gets stuck on Please Wait, then goes black, the PS3 beeps 3 times, and resets me back to XMB. can anyone help me?
ok so, my ps3 recently got the YLoD. yesterday, i was able to salvage the hard drive, and i was wondering if putting the hard drive into a different ps3 would allow me to keep all my progress. my plan is to get a new ps3, put the old hard drive in, back up on a flash drive, then put in the new hard drive and copy from flash drive. would this allow me to keep my data?
