@PSdual_wielder:

The popular titles on PS4 are multi-platform.

Titles push consoles. If I am to be fair, it is games that cause PC-owners to upgrade their systems. Technology causes a push and the market appreciates it.

I recall the PS2 and GTA3. So far, the "potential" and "imagination" of gamers doesn't result in complete market domination. What is needed are titles that are inherently good. Marketing can insinuate wonders, but the actual titles are what PS4 and Xbox One lack.

Multi-platform games aren't impressive. Perhaps what is impressive is the religion of these consoles.

This next generation of consoles have impressive ports from the PC; it is crucial to allow the console-gamer the closest thing to a mid-range PC that can be comparable to the technology of 2008-2009. Over-all, the exciting factor of both the XboxOne and the PS4, is the API/Mantle advantage that will be introducing the development team a complete alternative instead of the Direct X libraries. Yet, many games are still limited by conventional tools (licensed software) on the market.

Over-all, visually, both the specifications, though limited, are either upscaled to 1080 from 1280 x 720, at the standard of 60 frames or less by rate. With no ability to choose which shading techniques, or which drawing distances are available--- options that can allow a consistent frame rate and enjoyable experience has yet to be shone, it is clear that the consoles will on occasion suffer from hiccups; this is common on both the XOne and PS4 because of the lack of resources in CPU, GPU and RAM capability. The ending result is that it is mid-range system is frugal, and quite acceptable for the corporate needs of cutting down cost.

The GDDR5 is a clever type of ram for video cards; when the motherboard integration of this ram has yet to be used in the market place (PC build), and fully analyzed, I must discern that the marketing of this ram as traditional ram, is quite misleading, but in the end, deceptive. The amount of heat from the ATI/AMD processor, capacitors, and pipelines will cause the motherboard to bend as well; memory too, does heat up-- the frequency is quite high on PS4--- I have omitted the PS4 GPU, since it is quite low to accommodate the power supply. Failure of these machines is higher verses the PC.

This is common on both consoles, and the result of poorly ventilated cases and design will cause failure.

Both consoles will require curing in the oven, as with the previous generation, since the hardware will eventually warp. This creates a concern for the consumer level, as the problem of poorly manufactured hardware is ever-present on both machines. I think the PS4 isn't practical from a life-span at the price issued. The XboxOne too is going to suffer equally.

Graphically, the PS4 still doesn't match the power of a ATI 6950, but perhaps is marketed to be more powerful than the 7770 model for an affordable build. The GPU on both consoles, on Jaguar technology are best kept for cell phones and tablets.

Why has the AMD corporation allowed this cost-effective blunder? Jaguar(click on this to read the facts).

It seems that Sony and Microsoft are more concerned with frugality--- they pass it on to you while you pay for outdated hardware.

Sony and Microsoft are brilliant. The developers know this. I do know that some people at Sony are becoming uncomfortable at this weak CPU/GPU--- I am ignoring the fact that several stories on poorly manufactured consoles have been purchased by consumers who are none the wiser

I want carefully to consider the hardware, for it seems that the cons outweigh the pros.

The war of Sony vs Microsoft is farcical since the machines are inferior. The PR still managed to win.

To spend $399.99-499.99 is an ideal price point if one has the credit to blow!!! The loyalty needed for this console-religion should continue in the ends of the business-man. Yet the most naive portion of me, which is no different than corporate-cult compliance, taught at companies, seduces me is the very farce of what this system war is worth buying into.

For retailers and the multi billion dollar industry of video-games, I can see why there is a nostalgic need to keep the "war" alive. But what war? A war on your wallet? I find it very difficult to be excited for this generation, considering that the specifications are similar to lower-end PCs. The Jaguar is impressive, but even the Athlon AMD Phenom II 980 black edition, is still more capable as a four core, vs the 8 core design of the Jaguar 1.75 giga hertz. I realize that it appears that the mainstream gamer never focused on specs, but on public relations (propaganda). The consoles have only 1.75 giga hertz (give or take). That's pretty weak.

I for one enjoy watching others fight over companies. It's pretty intense to see so many gamers relay on ad-hominem, rather than individually wait for these systems to come out with actual playable titles-- consequently, it is fascinating how these systems have AAA titles that haven't been reviewed yet. That's impressive! The magic of deception has imprinted the minds of millions with hope. This a terrible thing.

But from the looks of next-generation games, I have yet to be impressed; I've seen all from the PC-modding community impress me with the use of high resolution textures, animation improvements, and usage of shaders.

The use of only 8 gigbytes of GDDR5 isn't impressive. These consoles should of had 16gb of ram instead! The video portion should have at least 4gb of ddr5.

I know it's picky, but with only 8 gigs of ram, it feels like one step forward and two steps backwards.

Why should they fear being replaced?  Can't they just move up to another position?

Why is it that many companies want their employees to be submissive and timid?

I don't understand it anymore. People at companies are way too idealistic and unrealistic about how they should do business these days.  The expectations that they set for some corporate name really offends me.

There is this stupid trend, where hipsters think they're clever to use selective ignorance when it suits them.

It's painful that a simple skill like reading is becoming more challenging as time progresses. In a forum where reading is required, the "regular" can have Pokemon Icons, and lame banners to prove their bravado, while lacking common-sense to break free from their forum personality of a cool tough guy who looks at porn, pictures, and videos that lowers intelligence.

Yes. It was "too long, didn't read." The typical mentality of a pimple face loser who still uses coercion, poor wit, and comedy, makes childish adults chuckle.

The more foolish the topic, the more fools will flock to what they're accustomed to.

TL:DR is lame. This trend is a cop-out.

The fact is kiddies, you have no choice but to read. Deal with it. Who knows, you might learn something.

Learning is good. Reading isn't just long sentences, but the ability to apply yourself to the expansion of knowledge. But if reading is bad, then not knowing the edge is reason to let sheep fall off a cliff and die.

tl;dr

soulless4now

That's because you can't read like the rest of the ADHD kids. TL:RD is the result of the "Deliberate Dumbing Down of Americans."

Too long didn't read is a badge of honor for stupid children.

Yes unchecked democracy is evil, which is why we need laws to keep societies from resorting to it.

But the law system is insidious because it uses the ruse of representation with democracy. They "re-present" the client, to let the jury crucify the client, with the judges approval. It's a sick game. But most of the forumers are too stupid to see it.

You don't understand bird law OP.

TacticalDesire

I don't "understand" it. I stand over it.

Many can't understand law, because they can't see the game that they are playing.
