You know I had small nitpicky things that bothered me about ME3 but overall I thought it was an amazing achievement. I never wanted it to end. Then I actually got to the end. W...T...F Seriously those ME3 endings could collectively be the defintion of WTF.
I did play all the expansions so I felt pretty confident I'd know what was going on in ME3. For the most part I was correct but one glaring exception was that Anderson wasn't on the Council and Udina was...even though I'd originally picked Anderson for that role at the end of ME1. Initially I thought I'd uploaded the wrong save game and finally had to do a search on google to find out that Anderson had left the council and that this story was in some ME book. That was...disappointing.
As a worker I care about worker's rights, unions, and the working environment. If companies can basically arm twist their employees to do 80 hours a week in one industry it won't be long before other industries push workers to do the same.
It's not a radical design. It's a tried and true design. It's Mass Effect in the Dragon Age universe with Hawk playing the role of Shepard. Problem is Mass Effect looks and plays better, has more compelling characters, and offers more variety to it's settings. Also if you continue the comparisons the original Dragon Age had more choice and greater freedom than even Mass Effect. In the end an improved combat system doesn't make up for what they removed.
