They will be putting it together for me. I haven't really been keeping up-to-date on hardware. Does this look alright?

Yep, went there, and found both drives listed, but it's not giving me the option to format it.

EDIT: I think I figured it out.

EDIT2: It looks like it's working. Thanks again. As always, you guys are awesome.

I picked it up and installed it, but it's not registering, under My Computer. Note, I'm using it as a slave to my primary IDE drive.

Do I have to do something specific in the BIOS?

I have a small HD atm (80GB) and came across this just now, and I'm quite interested in picking it up. Would it be compatable with my motherboard and PSU?

If you need anything else to better answer this, please just let me know. If you have any better suggestions for a decently sized HD from Canada Computers, let me know.

Thanks, guys.

I have another disk, myself. So, from I am gathering, w/e disc I use doesn't matter, but only the serial code. Am I right in assuming this?

and getting a BSoD. My Windows XP CD has a large crack, so I'm assuming that might be the problem. Would it be possible to exhange it for a new one?

Well is it 32 or 64 bit xp?

64bit can detect 128GB (i think)

32bit can detect 3.25GB (approx, depends on ur gpu ram)

Amith12

Forgot to mention those things lol. It's 32 bit. My vRAM is 512 MB.

I currently have 2 gigs of DDR2 (5-5-5-31) Kingmax. Relatively cheap stuff. I was thinking of getting 4 gigs of some much better RAM, or at least better than what I have now. I have Windows XP. How much of the RAM will Windows detect? Is it worth the upgrade?

Well, I have no knowledge on the subject. Any printer that will print from multiple computers, and that can be setup with relative ease, is what I am looking for. Obviously, a printer that has a low $/page ratio is a plus.

I am looking to buy a new printer, preferably wireless, and that can print from multiple computers. I am thinking about getting this. There isn't really a lot of discussion about printers on this forum, but I am still curious what you guys think, or if you would suggest anything better. Thanks for any input.
