A significant number of the biggest games of current gen were UE3 based. It's the most widely used engine, which means that you get the whole spectrum from excellence to garbage on it.

@nameaprice @The_Beanster @implodinggoat Nothing about any of the PS systems made me feel as if I was missing anything. I haven't seen any Sony exclusive that really seemed like something I needed to buy a console for.

Not saying that their consoles aren't good - I've just not seen any reason to purchase one (yet).

But it will be the standard for next-gen graphics just like UE3 and UE2 before it.

@implodinggoat I've boycotted all sony consoles but M$ is working hard to change that and get me to purchase a PS4
