@FAIL_TR0LL I don't buy used games often, but I do share games back and forth with friends frequently. That's busted too with this.
And in my mind it's the principle that matters. It's like people saying that always online doesn't matter because they have good internet. That's not the point. The point is that M$ is actively implementing things with their console that hurt consumers, and they expect you to just bend over and take it.
never thought I'd see the day a company's business practices led to me boycotting their console but that's what we have here... still can't believe how dumb M$ is
@grnsuperman4 @The_Beanster @Duninn2013 @Bellum_Sacrum It wasn't until the last couple years that other online services were good enough that you can say "everyone else does the same thing but they offer it for free"
Go back 5+ years - nobody in the console space offered an experience anywhere close to what M$ offered for $50/year.
And for the record, I do think they no longer have the quality to justify the online fee, especially since half the UI is dedicated to advertisements.
@Duninn2013 @The_Beanster @Bellum_Sacrum I think so but I've been a gold member since 2002... people whine about the yearly fee, but you can find sales to get it for $30-40/year on sites like Newegg, and up until a couple years ago it actually was worth the money.
@Bellum_Sacrum @The_Beanster I got an Xbox 360 for Halo 3 and just kept it for other halo games since that's what I and my friends play, but other than that haven't played any games on it really.
