@alecai Even father back than Doom 3... Doom 3 was decent but not much else. Quake 3 was the last great game from him. He's kind of like Peter Molyneux - a giant talking windbag with nothing credible to say.

The Wii U, with its last gen tech, is awkward to develop for, if you are thinking of making a Wii U version of your multi-platform title. That's exactly the problem.
Add to that Nintendo's ongoing focus on gimmicks, which in this case they didn't get right, and it's the final nail in the coffin.
And of course Nintendo fans don't care what happens, they're happy playing the same old games they've been playing for 20+ years.
