Where do you think Sony got its idea for the Eyetoy, Wifi is obsolete compared to gigabit and does nothing for PS3 game-wise, why else would the now-extinct PS3 20Gb ship without it.

wi-fi does nothing for gaming?? Wow. I will be glad to tell you that I play games online with 32 players (Resistance) using wifi. WIFI is pretty important to me as a gamer. I could pick up my PS3 and hook it up to my monitor upstairs while my wife is watching a movie or I can hook it up to my HDTV downstairs. IT's a great feature to have. My modem is in a completely different room than my TV or computer. For some people, WiFi is an absolute must have, body. You fanboys are rediculous.

Plus, M$ in my opinion should try to resolve their hardware problems before making such commitments. I mean, who would buy a 360 as an HD-DVD player only to have it fail. 360 already can't take the load it's got.

Now, that would be halarious. The thing is that even if this was true, then M$ still can't utilize it in games, because you have 11 million 360's out there that don't have that drive. It's not even legitimate to do that to early adopters. So my guess that even with the HD-DVD drive built in, it won't be utilized for games but only for playing movies, not to mention how expensive that model would be. M$ is doing everything it can to stop the Blue-Ray from destroying the HD-DVD. We'll see if this is true.

yup, I am doing right now with an HDMI to DVI cable. You will need to take the sound somewhere else though. I do it with a fiber optic cable. DVI does not carry sound.
