If youve played Halo 2 online and got the auto update for the game, then all the copies you plan on useing for system link have to have the update as well. Otherwise it wont work. And i dont know if you HAVE to use a router, its just that i do. DZBricktop

yup, they've all been on live, and why would I need to run it through a router?

I just talked to customer service and they said it won't work because I am going from an Xbox 360 to an original xbox.

A few of my friends are coming over and they are bringing their original xbox console and Halo 2. I myself have Halo 2 and the Xbox 360. My question is can I used the provided cable for the 360 to do a system link from Xbox 360 to the original xbox using Halo 2? I don't see why it wouldn't work.

well, you have to sync it with your PS3, so to do this you go to settings, then accessorie settings, then register bluetooth device, then bluetooth headset, then you have to put your headset into pairing mode, look up how to do this in your instruction manual, then the PS3 will find it and ask for a pin number, the number 0000 once you do this once, you won't have to do it again.

do you think that they are releasing it in september in order to compete with Halo 3? Because I think that is such a good idea, cuz killzone is probably going to DESTROY Halo 2, and I am a really big Halo fan, but I think Killzone can do it.
