What, that was in response to your allegation of "picking and choosing", not merely homosexuality. I agree that the verses regarding homosexuality are despicable. A lot of Christians bypass this by claiming that, since Jesus, they only are required to follow the New Testament.[QUOTE="The_LWR"][QUOTE="sikanderahmed"]
i dont see anything allegorical about homosexuality in bible. if bible, for example, says "kill homosexuals", how will a christian intrepret that?

these verses shouldnt be despicable to a christian
Why not? They were written thousands of years ago and are heavily influenced by the culture of the time. P.S. I'm not a Christian.[QUOTE="The_LWR"][QUOTE="XilePrincess"]A lot of people who don't like rap like eminem. I'm that way too.mems_1224Why though? He isn't that innovative, or even that different compared to the rest of mainstream rap. because he's white lolrofl. In that case there's still plenty of emcees out there that are miles beyond Slim.
With a book as blatantly allegorical as the bible, I wouldn't call interpreting it "picking and choosing". Addendum: oh god I'm defending Christians.[QUOTE="The_LWR"][QUOTE="sikanderahmed"]
oh sorryi forgot the christians pick and choose tactics with bible

Naw he's a Christian if accepts Jesus (and his resurrection) and God. They are free to interpret the bible, unlike the Qu'ran.[QUOTE="The_LWR"][QUOTE="sikanderahmed"]

[QUOTE="Jandurin"]No, because all religions are just as pointless as each other. If you can't have one, you can't have any young man.sikanderahmed
Pointless to you maybe. But without brave Christians who died for this country (Martin Luther King Jr), America wouldn't be the country it is now.
I cannot think of one muslim country that is as progressive as America. One day gay marriage will be legalized in the United States, I know this is against the Church, but for most Christians, humanity comes first.

Kindly tell me why should we get rid of Christmas? Because muslim immigrants do not like it? That won't happen. As long as there are true Christians in this country, that will not happen.
Jesus is the lord.

That isn't saying much. I wouldn't call the USA "progressive".Sometimes they just need to review the movie based on how much FUN it is to see.hoolaIf I could type no a million times I would, but one will suffice: no.
