Think about it like this. Normally when people eat lunch at the cafeteria, they decide where to sit based on who is at the table. It becomes a social situation because tables for singles aren't feasible. You end up sitting with people who you know and then being forced to talk to them when all you want to do is eat your meal in privacy. The alternative is to sit with a group of people who you don't know, at which point they're like, "why are you trying to sit here with us, we don't even know you?" It ends up being an uncomfortable and/or annoying forced social situation, when all I want to do is sit down and eat by myself. This isn't for solitary people who want to make friends. This is for solitary people who don't want to be bothered. Yep.Haha, how are they supposed to make friends with that thing in between them?
